Wonderful!! Yes please card making for stationery box
MayMay, you are a Godsend! I watched your tutorial first on this box and it was a good thing I did! Had I watched several others first which were equally as pretty, I would've been zoning out. My attention span is limited! Your instructions were concise and descriptive. Thank you very much!
Your methods make things clear and easy to follow. Thanks for spelling it out! I'm so glad you have the videos and the instructions for projects. I've had to miss your live feeds the last three weeks. :-(
Maymay, you really are an exceptional teacher. I love your videos. They are very easy to understand. You explain everything so well. Thank you!
The use of the labeling on the mats is a fantastic idea!!!!!!!!!
I groaned when I first saw that box set, it looked like it would be so fiddly and hard to make, well your instructions were so clear, now I want to make some! Thank you!
You are a great instructor Maymay. I just made one for one of my nieces to give to the teacher in one afternoon. This is something that I will keep making over and over again. Tahnks
Thank You Thank you! I now have an idea for a friend who still sends notes in the mail! Wonderful gift for her.
I love this. I think I would add a magnet on each side to hold them in place when it's closed. I'm so glad I found you!
This is the first time I have ever seen one of your videos and I have to say it was Wonderful! I love how easy you made this and how you shared all the measurements and tips! Thank you!
I think the sample box is BRILLIANT
WELL SAID MAY MAY! I LOVE YOUR CARDS .I AGREE IT DOES HELP MAKE A TEMPLATE FOR YOUR SELF . I LOVE TO HEAR YOU SPEAK !

I just found this, I want to say as a mom with crafty daughters, that template box with the measurements seems a perfectly reasonable so that they know what they need. Heading to the store to get a few supplies to get started. My girls did say it makes it easy to see it.
you are REALLY REALLY good at presentation! your explanations are clear, you don't stutter, or say UM, and the transitions to create a "real time" effect are seamless. GREAT WORK! (p.s. i teach for a living!)
i will now follow you. i always wanted to make something like this but it looked to complicated. i love your step by step instructions, and all the tips you shared. thank you so much. i think you are an awesome teacher.
I used to make projects like this with plastic canvas. But paper crafting takes up most of my time now. I love this stationary box! It's pretty, fun, and I think it would be a great gift for friends, family, or even a favorite teacher! Great video! Thanks Maymay!
The video is an excellent resource Maymay! You did a fantastic job with the instruction as well. Everything was clear and systematic making it easy to follow. I think having the template to refer to for future use will certainly make this project easier to do and I look forward to giving this a try in the very near future. And yes! Please do show us how to make the card! As always, I look forward to your videos because of the care and detail you take in preparing them. Thank you again for sharing Maymay. You are certainly one of the reasons why I continue to enjoy crafting. God Bless You!
I am thinking what a nice gift this would make for any occasion. Thank you so much for showing such an easy to follow tutorial.
I love that you showed everything very clearly.
Maymay--here it is Aug 2021 and I'm TOTALLY going to make several of these for Christmas gifts!!! Your thoughtful efficiency in all of the How-to-Build is SO WONDERFUL Thank you!!!
One of my favorite DETAILED tutorials. I'm excited to make this. Thinking now what paper to use. Thanks for sharing.
Love this stationary box! Would love to see how make the gift tags and note cards on Tuesday. Thanks for all your inspiration!
I just now discovered this video. I love the idea of making a prototype and writing down the sizes. I did that with the folios we recently made. Excited to make some of these boxes and not have to use chip board for stability.
OMG! That's the cutest box EVER!!! I gotta make on To-Day!
I love the sample idea. With all my health issues, I get interrupted or simply forget. And I would make again and again and not stress about in subsequent constructions. Great job. Dee
Thank u for showing the box with the lettering and measurements........it's very helpful for sure! I plan to do these for gifts also. TFS! ❤️
Maymay, I gave a stationery box for a birthday gift and boy was it a hit. Already got orders to make some for Christmas gifts. Thanks for your tutorials.
This would also be great for giving a friend some crafting supplies as a gift! Very versitle!
Easier with all your instructions and examples. Not overkill, I like it.
Love this box.....Yes, let us see one of your Christmas cards for this year.....
I have made this a lot of time and love put into it and not to mention the cardstock. Loved doing it.I think using the alphabet for the sorting the paper out is a fantastic idea.
I bought some coordinating paper stacks and card/envelope sets from M's to make some stationery gift sets... and now, I am SO excited to add this box to the list of uses for these pretty papers! Thanks, Amy!
My favorite craft project ever! Thanks for sharing!
I really like the sample box and matting. This is a great gift set. Thank you.🎉
I'm making my great niece who is 6 a card kit with die cuts and card bases. This will be perfect. Thank you so much.
Not an over kill. Glad you explained everything. Love the box and your tips.
I made one of these stationery boxes several years ago. I remember it being tedious. I like the way you broke down the steps. I'll try it your way. Thanks!
Love it! Very clear instructions. You did all the planning for us to make this a whole lot easier!
This is a great tutorial. The making of the inserts for the pockets would be great to see on Tuesday's video. TFS.
I'd love to see the cards you make for this gift box. Love this and plenty of plans t make for gifts. Thank you MayMay.
Maymay I love the box. I like the sample box for the sizes, you're right it should be much easier to put together.✂️
Your directions are wonderful. They fully explain how to make this box. I am saving this video for future reference.
Love the box. The template was an awesome idea. Would love to see the cards made on Tuesday.
Your so great explaining everything and have the score lines on the lighter sheet. You rock!
Not over kill at all! Amazing help tool if making more than one. Thanks MayMay from Trouble Maker in Palmerdale, Al
I made one! I followed your easy to understand instructions and printed out the measurements from your blog. Thank you for making this project. I love how you walked us through it. I'll be making at least ten of these for gifts for the holidays and birthdays.
Thank you for showing us how to make the stationary box. Very easy to follow instructions. Definitely will be making a few, so the template box is a wonderful idea.
Having the prototype sure would help me and makes a lot of sense.
I know this is an old video, but I found it. You asked if we thought this is over-kill - ABSOLUTELY NOT! I appreciate all of the time you take to describe the project and the steps. Thank you so much.
Yes ! Cards for Tuesday please x
Made my template box & love it! Only change I made was in the length of the notepad cover. Made it to where a 3x3 post it sticky pad will fit inside the cover. That way it can be refilled when it gets empty!
Would love to see a remake of this adorable project
Hi, I have watched so many tutorials of these boxes but your video has helped me so much, it is the easiest by far for me to get a handle on, thankyou xx
Followed your tutorial step by step and made two of these today for an upcoming swap. You tutor like a true teacher! Great job!! Will be checking out more of your tutorials. And I found the labeled prototype invaluable. I make them as a new crafter all the time.
Thanks for simplifying this!!! And yes, I too make a template for boxes with measurements for everything written right on it!!
what an amazing idea to mark up the mats and in your sample you could pre prepare all your mats and put them in the pockets thank you for sharing your awesomeness
I love the idea of the sample box with the sizes all written on it. This will make a great gift.
Definitely not overkill. Very smart...and very cute. I'll be making these.
Thank you Maymay. I have some new graphic 45 papers that would be great for this. Yes, note cards and greeting cards for the box would be nice.
Yes, I would love to see the cards and note cards too. Thanks for the awesome project. I want to make some for presents.
I'm beyond excited to do this! I have subscribed. Can't wait to catch up with all your videos... to see how you grew to this amazing successful crafter!
Love Love Love it!!! I am thinking Mother's Day gift for our church women....You are amazing....
Such a great gift idea and yes, I would like to see you make the cards to match.
These are fun to make, bump it up a notch, make the base from patterned paper and then do layers with fun patterned paper....
I'm so excited to make this box and fill it for hostess gifts for my annual Christmas cookie party! Thank you!
Maymay you are awesome ! I've watched many of the stationary box videos and was very confused and overwhelmed. You just made this very easy to understand and explained it perfectly. You are the best teacher! love the template idea and I would enjoy watching the cards and tags video. Thank you soo much.
Not overkill. You. Are a great teacher.
I love your method of making a template with the matting measurements and corresponding letters to panels. I have a problem if I make something and then go back to make another one and have to determine the sizes again. Also, I like the idea of having all the mats cut out and then just glue. It makes the process that much faster. I may use this template idea for a number of other items.
MAYMAY I LOVE THIS LITTLE KIT. AND THE A,B,C LABELING.
I think this is an excellent video and the instructions are top notch. I also make samples of my projects and will be making this box soon. I really love the fact that you wrote the sizes on your sample box. Thank you for sharing this.
Wow! The detail in this is extraordinary, right down to ‘lining’ the inside of the pen with matching paper. Thank you! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I LOVE the template that you made for the body of the box and the the actual box with all the measurements. I am in love with these stationary boxes and I am making a bunch for gifts and craft shows and these will definitely come in so handy. THANK YOU for these very helpful ideas!!!
GENIUS!!! LOVE IT...ALL OF IT. I too will be making this in July for Christmas. TFS
If you turn the stamp pocket either 90’ or 180’ it will stop the stamps falling out when you shut the box 😊 Great video!
I loved watching your video. You are always clear & precise with your directions. I love the fact that You always share tips & tricks with us--you make it easy & fun to follow. I'm definitely going to make Some of these for Christmas. I loved the video of you & your Mother. I so enjoyed listening to your Mother. Enjoy every minute you can with her. My Mother was my best friend and I loss her 6 years ago and nothing is the same. Hug your mom for me & happy crafting!!!!!!❤️
I think it is a great Idea. I made this a few years ago for my Mum from a splitcoast stampers tutorial having the extra measurements actually helps with matting and what not.
I am a firm believer in your “overkill” technique, both for mass producing the project and for teaching the project.
Maymay, the way you did this was brilliant! Thank you for all you do to make our projects easier!
Definitely not overkill to TMI - AWESOME! Thank you so much.
I really like how you teach us how to do things. You are the best. Thank you for teaching and sharing your talents. Blessing to you and your family
I love this box. Thanks for sharing. That will make the project easier for me.
yes would love to see the cards also. Oh and I love that you share the items you are using.
Love it Maymay. I do appreciate the suggestion of the template and matting measurements. Thank you. God bless
YES please! Would love to see you make the cards also. Great tutorial ☺
Definitely not overkill! Especially for me! I have been wanting to make one of these, but, I'm glad I waited to see you do it! You explain things so that even I can understand, and I'm not too crafty! By the way, I ordered art glitter from you because you kept saying how much you love it. I've never had luck with glue because of the humidity here in Louisiana. With the pen in the glue, I haven't had any problems! I love it!
Love this.... you made it so clear... you are the BEST teacher..... !!! Would love to see the cards for the Tuesday video!!!
i want to let you know that your the best on doing stationery box. I look at about 4 different people could not show how it was done. So thank you very much.
Great tutorial! I think is works great to make a sample. I wouldn't have thought of that, but seeing why you did makes me realize it's a great idea. I would've just made one, then realize later I don't remember what I did that first time. This is why I love watching tutorials on KZread. I learn so many different helpful hints. Thank you!
Maymay, this is so very helpful. I love how you made a template box with all the measurements and explaining all the steps along the way. Amazing work. It will help me in making my boxes. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Mary
Very helpful to have the template design to know what you need where. Brilliant creation thanks so much for sharing this 🫶💞💜

I am sure I will learn a lot from you. I will be joining your facebook group as well. I love your excitement for everything. Thanks for the opportunity for entering your contest.
Thanks for making the sample. I do agree that it will help with making more in the future. I will be making a sample one also, so I can remake it multiple times. Thanks.
I so agree with Joan Smith. You explain everything perfectly.
Great handmade gift!! Thanks for the instructional video, Maymay!!
Just wanted to let you know I finally got a chance to put the box together. It was a little challenging because I don't have a 12 x 12 score board but will soon. Your directions were awesome!!!! I'll post a picture after it's completed. Thanks May May!!
