It is possible to save the first one, it is very tight though, you would have to devote your entire first few minutes to getting a 2x2 room at the max with a 1x1 airlock, enclosing it, bursting 2 pipes to be "cowls", and set up your inside in a way that you can vent out your waste tank without getting any venus atmosphere involved. Best thing to do is on world start, drop your suit pressure to 40kpa and increase your suit temp to 30C, those two changes alone will close to double the amount of time you have before your waste tank fills.
