Oh boy.....I'm glad I watched this video. I'm missing out on luxury items. I upgraded to a heavy drill last night and it was a game changer

To remove the plant's transpired water, a passive liquid vent works really well. However, if you have the connected water pipes linked to your drinking water, i found I got an error on the bottle filler when there were pollutants (and I assume also volatiles) in the liquid pipes with the water. So i use an inline tank and a liquid analyser to check no nasty gases in there before pumping it back into the water main. To remove the gases, as the passive vent will collect them, i just have a purge valve back into the room and then scrub out the nasties back to the master drain pipe.

At that low pressure the pollutants won't liquefy.

Mars.. will we see rockets.. exploding mountains .. evil lairs .. and a lot of liquid nitrous to have fun with :D Thanks for the Video(s) :) PS: I sometimes still wonder why you don't drag your toolbelt closer to the hands.. much less mouse movement and dropping things accidentally, it will also always appear where you left it etc... if it's too big you can scale the UI in the video settings. I think the games whole UI needs a little overhaul anyways, I didn't get that with the stacking moveable autosorting windows from the start.. 😅🙈

Mick: which shortcut have you configured to put stuff back in the inventory. I noticed it some while back, that you can remove stuff from your hands and put in the right spots, without actually selecting the target. I could be mistaken though.

I think you would be better off using the vertical angle of the sun for your grow light rather than the grid sunlight. Where your solar sensor is, it'll be in the shade just after midday, which will turn the Activate to 0, turning off the growlights. Prior to the solar angle change having the growlights on while the solar angle was less than 60 worked well, not sure how it would function now.

Damn, I use a similar automation principe as your do your growlight, but for my furnace : I pour ices and ores into it, and when I pull the lever it spills ingots ! Aren't you impressed ?

That nutrition mod is nuts. I love adding realism but the amount they make you drink would make you sick with severe water toxicity in real life. Maybe if the days were longer and the amount per day stayed the same it would balance that out to more reasonable.

i like that plant now output moisture, but i'm not playing the game again until they sort the liquid/gas pipe nonsense. good vid though! :-)

I've been planting potatoes on Mars for quite some time now, I've got a similar setup...but no water in the room at all. The only thing different is that im not dumping the Nitrogen from the Ice Crusher into the room. 🤔

I think I have turned into the wrong channel, this guy is using a locker....

Is being able to feed the hydrocarbon "waste" from a botched smelt back into the furnace to get what you failed to get the first try something i just didnt know about in vanilla? Or is that also a mod?

It looked like the soup in plants and nutrition also gave you hydration? Or tried to? 28:02

Yeah, that's something added by the Plants and Nutrition mod. Some foods like milk or soup gives back hydration, while other foods like french fries dehydrate you a little.

any reason for more than one passive vents in same room ?

I'm not using the Plants and Nutrition mod and I'm also getting fog

@@WakkaWakka25 i think it's actually calendar is what is actually broken. It's the same day every day. Groundhog day. I believe that's the reason why storms are not triggering.

You get water vapour in your room from a normal game as well. Not just from the mod you are using

Yeah but in this case, it's the plants that is transpirating some of the water drank back into the atmosphere. This is not in vanilla, it's added by the Plants and Nutrition mod that he is using.
