what chance would the rest have, then??
The KRB speaks - we are not worthy! Then again, nor are we worthy of these performances.

You are much too kind :). By the way I'm still working on Vitamin C, the beat is very challenging for me to play with consistency, but it's getting better slowly. It's the ghost notes into the double kicks that I struggle with. It's so much harder than it sounds!

@@KRB_Drummer bish, i don't even know what a ghost-note is. i can imagine it being tricky, though. cool
OMG, one of my favorite albums and songs of all time

Funny; the first two beats in this remind me a whole lot of some Unwound ones-which reminds me: I really should try more (and more urgently) to get into Unwound.

I feel like “World Police and Friendly Fire” (this movement of Static) is probably the closest they’ve gotten to metal besides “Mladic”. Super powerful song

I agree! I think the long buildup and tempo increase in this song are super impactful and very well done

@@KRB_Drummeryes that’d be awesome!
don't gy!be have like 2 drummers? i wonder what the second drummer is doing all this time

That's right! For this song I believe one drummer plays the main beats while the other drummer plays a tom pattern in the background, mostly from around 2:12 onwards. At around 3:58 when I switch from the floor tom to the hi hat, the other drummer would keep the tom part going in the background. And then at the end, it sounds like there are multiple people bowing cymbals and striking a gong, I don't have a gong so I just emulated the sound by using a soft mallet on my ride cymbal

based on this performance: jackin' it
Too much tripping for my taste 😂 … but i respect that kind of sound/approach 🎉 just not my sound …
