Statesmen Quartet for Nabisco-1953-54
Ойын-сауық
Open, middle commercial and selected music from the Statesmen Quartet Nabisco Program. Attempting to "create" a show as it might have been presented in 1953. This show was featured mostly in Southern and small Midwest TV markets in the early-mid 1950's..

This is my favorite lineup.
The two songs starting at 10:16!!!!!!!! That's ROCK AND ROLL, baby!!!!!!! According to wikipedia, the Statesmen were a huge influence on Elvis, and they actually invited him to sing with them when he was a boy. I believe it!Tim Lones, thank you sooooo much for posting this priceless document of american culture and history!!!!!
Thanx Tim Lones for this rare footage; just great!

WOW I didn’t know they sang “Get Away Jordan” way back then incredible
Oreo wasn't good enough to get its own spotlight yet :P
What a different time it was, when most of the whole country loved the Lord, now our nation has turned its face from God, when a member of the congress of the United States says God has no place in that body, whoa unto thee oh wicked nation.
