Man, right there with you Tammer. Me and my wife deleted the app from our phones. I am keeping my channel around cause I'm working on my first actual weapon and quest mod(thanks to you). It's a sad state of affires cause I literally don't have any form of social media so this is pretty much all I have. Next year I plan on doing a Morrowind Coop playthrough. For a while, it looked like they had quietly dropped it but after a few weeks of nothing where I started to think, "Maybe I can upload videos again," my ability to watch videos was blocked by a nag panel so I figured, "Screw this," haha

they put ads on mine and im banned from monetization. i like to upload for the subscribers still but i understand your frustration, i hope you find a better way to release videos and get the revenue you deserve. i was wondering if it would be possible for you to do a tutorial on how to turn basic blender shapes and meshes into world objects and how to uv map them? i see allot of people get into modding via the easy to use world editor and its how i got started. and if people knew how to make custom objects for the world then so much great mods would be made.

I'm not interested in revenue, it just chaps my ass that they're making money off of me and still trying to push ads on me. I'm a content creator, meaning that I provide them with opportunities to show ads to other people. If I want an ad-free experience, they should just eat the cost because they making it back without having to pay me. As far as creating world objects, I don't actually know how to do that. My experience with Blender only goes as far as remixing things other people have created. Everything I've ever made has its basis in something that was included in the game files. I have never created anything from scratch.

I agree, KZread profiting off of people who make videos and content as a non-profit hobby, is extremely wrong. Same as how Nexus profits off other peoples work, it's dumb.

Outrageous. I love how KZread is digging its grave. It's unfortunate you will no longer be active on youtube. It would be awesome to see other tutorials of yours like how to do animation mods or Q&A type videos.

hello tammer, ihave a question about vlad's weapon depot, often times when i buy a custom gun, a few days go by, and i try to talk to vlad to get the custom gun, he would said wait a few day even though the progress is 100%, the time remaining said 0 days, and 0 hours, no matter how many hours i wait he would still bugged out and not give me custom gun, is there any way to fix this?

Yeah, I use Firefox on android, and my adblock (AdGuard Adblocker) works just dandy there. Not sure for how long it will, but I get to watch YT play legal chicken with the EU without adverts - or worse, malverts - popping up, so that's fun.

Yeah, Europe is much better about consumer rights than North America. My hope is that complying with your laws makes it not worth it for companies to maintain two systems, and thus ours gets dragged up to your standards but from my experience, capitalism always somehow prevails...

@@mctammer Gonna quickly correct you by saying I'm not actually a European, I just know enough Europeans that I start learning shit about their legal system due to proximity. A couple tech youtubers also point out the legal chicken nature, and I don't see Alphabet abandoning the European market any time soon.

good on you man, you gotta fight for what you believe in and those greedy cucks at Google are relentless. i will miss seeing the demos for the new weapons popping into my feed, but i totally understand the sitch, the platform has been a mess since they bought it.

There are several people who have already done this, but you can do it as well if you like. Just make sure you don't upload any of my meshes, textures, etc. to Nexus and only upload the plugin.

@@zigyap7684No, the ESM file does not contain any meshes. If the only file you upload is the .ESM file, that is okay.

What ad-blocker do you use? I switched to uBlock origins and have'nt been hassled since.

I use uBlock Origin as well, but every so often KZread stops working and I have to go into the settings and manually update everything, then restart the browser to get it working again. Super-annoying.

I should bench watch some tutorials after downloading them to make some weapons. Already have some meshes sitting on the shelf. Made a neat grenade rifle that should be interesting getting into NV.

Why aren't your videos monetised? Because guns in the background have a pistol grip and scary black colour which means that they are dangerous?

They're not monetized because I don't care about the money. This is a hobby that I do because I enjoy it, and because my tutorial videos help educate people. Many people have told me that they decided to try making mods themselves entirely *because* of my videos, which is very rewarding. I'm not in this to get rich, I just want to share the joy I get from it with everyone. But this greedy corporate nonsense makes it harder for me to do that. It leaves a sour taste in my mouth when I'm giving them my content for free but they still try to squeeze me for pennies.

@@kamilmalazdra233 I never applied for entry into the partner program. It used to be that if you weren't opted in to have ads shown on your video, they would be ad-free. But then KZread started showing ads anyway, and just keeping all the revenue for themselves without having to share it, which I think is BS.
