State-of-the-art Bundelkhand Expressway to give major boost to connectivity & development in UP
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Uttar Pradesh on 16th July, 2022 and inaugurated Bundelkhand Expressway at Kaitheri village in Orai tehsil of Jalaun district.
The government has been committed to enhancing connectivity across the country, a key feature of which has been the work towards improvement in road infrastructure. A significant endeavour towards this was the laying of foundation stone for the construction of Bundelkhand Expressway by the Prime Minister on 29 February, 2020. The work on the Expressway has been completed within 28 months and it will now be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
The 296 Km, four-lane expressway has been constructed at a cost of around Rs 14,850 crores, under the aegis of Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA), and can later be expanded upto six lanes as well. It extends from NH-35 at Gonda village near Bharatkoop in Chitrakoot district to near Kudrail village in Etawah district, where it merges with the Agra-Lucknow expressway. It passes through seven districts, viz. Chitrakoot, Banda, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Auraiya and Etawah.
Along with improving connectivity in the region, the Bundelkhand Expressway will also give a major boost to economic development, resulting in the creation of thousands of jobs for the local people. Work on the creation of industrial corridor in Banda and Jalaun districts, next to the Expressway, has already been started.

Some states failed to implement health reforms, PDS and educational systems unlike Kerala and also didn't have influx of money from Gulf, lots of corrupt politicians and dynasty politics destroyed most of northern India, But now lots of investment are coming into northern states resulting in budget surplus and these money can be invested for better facilities whereas Kerala is going backward, there are no industries left and Govt has lots of debt, wait some 10-20 years and see the progress.

What I appreciate is the speed at which things are being done. Previously, it was impossible to imagine a 250+ km expressway in 28 months. Government projects were delayed for decades.

Gadkariji,swamyji..pls also add an emmergency road 10 feet especially for medical, ambulance, which should be in centre of the highway..Best is on divider with 10 ft road alongside garden of 5 feet.. Request to motivate steam engines ( using salt water for hydro power project, fresh water,recycling plant ) with hybrid along with micro solar energy for automotive power..etc..
UP has changed a LOT over the past three years, I've seen it . Crime has plunged . A lot has to be done and is being done, but unless people start taking responsibility and educating their kids about right values and behavior nothing will change.

But specially in Tripura, Gomati district road conditions is very bad. Day by day there are many accidents happening on these roads. Like Udaipur to Amarpur via Gandacha, Natun Bazer, Jatanbari, Raishabari, Chalagang, Karbok etc. etc. If the road is not good, a place can not be improved. I am requesting PM Sri.
