State of Play: New reporting requirements for foreign investors

Foreign investors have obligations to report to the new Register of Foreign Ownership of Australian Assets from 1 July 2023 on a broad range of transactions relating to the acquisition, certain changes and disposal of interests in Australian entities, assets and land.
