ABSOLUTELY AGREE about Beast master. I was so fucking mad after finally getting it and leveling only to realize it was worthless. It's honestly one of the reasons I quit. The fragility of pets, the long time it takes to train/retrain them, and the narrow field of actually even useable pets (90 % of all animals that can be made pets are completely worthless, and the other 10 % are only 90% worthless.) made my complete mage pet tamer build useless, and that the build I wanted to play. I don't want to be an archer. I don't want to be a foot soldier. I want to be a necromage (dark priest type) who can heal, and uses both living and dead pets for different situations. If I can't do that and be viable, I'm just not gonna play. Why make builds available that aren't viable.

Getting animal care is 100x better points than beastmastery

I 100% agree on the Hunting "System" it's so lackluster from fighting (hunting) the actual mobs to the rewards you actually get. Fundamental gameplay loops like that need to be solid and as fun as possible. It's what keeps people playing. I would for one enjoy a more complex mob fighting mechanic. When it comes to actually subbing to the game, it's not about the monthly fee in my eyes. It's people are not willing to monthly pay for a game that lacks in, core gameplay and at the same time only offers you one single character. You cannot play this game with 1 character it fucking sucks. Don't give me the "Just ask people ingame or join a guild and ask in the discord" That is just not always possible. it's supposed to be a Sandbox game where you can do whatever the fuck you want at all times. Let's say I wanna solo play in the Jungle and chill just by myself. And I want to be as self sustained as possible. I can only craft 2 out of the 3-4 things I need minimum. And If I pick more than one Prof I will have to gimp my gear in a way that makes it bad for a solo sustained setup. Oh and Beast Mastery.... The worst system ever.

State of the game: 2 year after release and I still can't sell armor set in one bag p.s. I bought 6-month pack and cougar cape because of Stockholm syndrome

I played a lot of Gothic 1-2 when I was a kid and one of the best things I remember was the feeling I got when I found the dragon nestled in the prison valley. I knew there was one around because there were dragon hunter faction npcs all around the valley but finding its lair and hunting it felt so damn great. I want to experience that with MO2 as well.

How can MO1 enable you to have more than one character but MO2 you only have one?! If you gonna copy and paste a game over, don't leave out the multiple character options

I think this time they dug their grave with this poor UE 5 patch. 1200 people online on a Friday evening and no content or anything in near reach. Most mobs are farmed despite the low numbers. Dungeons are also guarded by guilds you cannot defeat because they exploit and cheat. I bought one supporter pack and already regret it. I won' pay per character. I agree on most of the comments below. Infinite possibilities but if you don't play certain builds you die all the time. It's pretty sad but hey Early Access from Pax Dei will soon start.

I also agree 3000 hours in game, and i refuse to sub. Not becuase of money, but becuase starvault actually thinks that their game is worth the sub. The game is buy to play and that is where it should of stayed for now. And yes i do agree with games having subs! However like stated, not a single system theyve realeased has even been worthy of crossing off the road map. Theyve had content done and finished for years without releasing it? I literally run into game killing bugs everytime i play! And not only that but it also seems like theres account bound bugs or per account bugs. Aswell to the laughable 1 world server. I cant literally get hit in melee from 15 ft away. Been a fan for 7 years now , and this game will be alsong side mortal 1. Theyve learned nothing and been given to many chances. Mess it up evertime. They lie repeatidly about the amount of people working for SV. They got farmer joe and 7 other eployees, 1 the ceo and the kther 5 gms. Noone else is authentically working on this project other than farmerjoe. And it shows.

God of war got game of the year for a 50 hour campaign and you got 3k hours out of the game so far and the sub costs to much? lol

Ahh yah pets a mages only defense. its a shame mages cant hold their own like the footfighters can.

There is no integrity in their development. If there is, they need to make it more visible. I've been looking.... Its either trolling or incompetence at this point?

At this point, if you are expecting AAA polish from this very ambitious game and small dev team, then you are either new or, frankly, obtuse. The lay definition of insanity is repeating the same thing and expecting a different result... I think that applies here in the sense that when content is added, new bugs come in and people seem surprised and even outraged. When do you cease being dumbfounded by this? At some point, you got to let it go... move on, either for a few months, or forever if need be. You have to vote with your wallet, because the constant complaining has no real benefit, and really just makes the complainer look bad (constructive criticism can be useful, however). For me, the game is so unique and immersive, that I find it worth it (and I am not alone). For others, SV's missteps are just too frustrating, and that is totally understandable. Go find a game you like.

Sad reality, this game is leagues above most AAA titles....

This game turned out to be such a joke and it's down to SV itself.

I uninstalled MO2 last week, and will not be subbing for these reasons. The lack of any real meaningful action against known RMTers and exploiters. Dupes and hacks I understand because there will always be hackers and dupers... it is a never ending cat and mouse game. The lack of understanding how some changes made lead to poor outcomes.. great example bows on risars. They needed something but bow bandits have been broken since launch, and adding bows to risars just makes it worse. Instead of fixing the issue you just add to it. The adherence to the idea of no wipes, when the fragile economy has been shattered by previous exploits, hacks and bugs. THEN we have the old statement of "no legacy items in MO2" yet we have legacy tower shields, trinkets, and even armor and house vendors (priests, equarry) I may return when I see a NA server pop up... but I doubt then. Good luck in your endeavour with MO2.

Being a beast master is a waste of time. I leveled mine up and quit because they are shit.

I'm just gonna say it how it is folks, this game is fucking trash. I understand the appeal, I played over a thousand hours myself because it's simply the only option we have. But holy shit, this game is actual garbage. All they have done in two years is add more broken systems on top of a broken game. Nothing really works. It's full of bugs. And all the systems are badly designed.
