So I'm reading the comments and wow. What did the guy in the video say, "what harm can it do". Oh boy. That is a loaded question. Shoving the beliefs of one group down the throats of all the other children? Forcing children from other religions to accept other beliefs. Telling parents and children with other religions and cultures that the kids have to accept having something they don't believe pushed on them. Telling the kids of non believers that their parents are bad or going to hell. Trying to brain wash kids, to young to understand the topic, to believe what one group wants. Now the last few years everyone has been going on about being woke or stopping woke people. People have been talking about not being forced to take the covid vaccine. People have spoken about schools not putting sexually suggestive materials in schools. Talking about the right not to have their kids forced by schools to learn about different orientations. I find it interesting that now the dieing out Christian group are ready, when it suits them, to force everyone to accect/be exposed to their beliefs. There are more than 200 countries currently on this planet. I have no idea how many religions, all certain they are the true one. But I would guess well over 100. Thousands of cultures and societies have been and gone. All of our peoples from every country will one day be gone. Lost to time and no one will remember us. No one will morn us. No one will follow any of our religions. The only thing I truly know is everyone, unless they cause deliberate harm, should be treated as family. Our differences can bring us together and make us a strong family. All of you think your right and everyone else is wrong? Tell me Christians, why do you want to take away Free Will? Settle down bible thumper, here in America, OUR CONSTITUTION separates Church and State.

It starts with “II am the Lord your God, thou shall not have any gods before me”, and “thou shalt not make any graven image and worship it”, and “thou shalt not misuse the name of the Lord your God” and “thou shalt remember the Sabbath and keep it holy”. The first four commandments are deeply religious and impinge upon the right of those who don’t believe in the same religion that you do. The next law is “honor thy father and thy mother” which may be a good thing under normal circumstances, but what about honoring a child abuser? Then there is, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” If you swear an oath that you are going to uphold the “sanctity of marriage”, then committing adultery is a somewhat immoral act, but religion has carried this to mean that fornication is a bad thing, prostitution is a bad thing - any sex outside of marriage is a bad thing. What if I believe that Christians have it wrong and sex, per se, is NOT a bad thing? Then there is the commandment that thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s house, or his wife, or his servants or his . . . How to interpret that? Does that mean that I can’t wish I had a house just like his? Or I can’t make an offer to buy a house I like? Or does it just mean I can’t steal it? Note that the Don’t Steal commandment already exists. That leaves just 3 more commandments, “Thou shall not kill, thou shall not steal, and thou shall not bear false witness”. Problem is, none of these are as simple as religion makes out. It is ok to kill someone during war time, or if someone has committed a heinous crime. It is ok for the government to “steal” your property in the name of imminent domain. And it is ok to lie all you want if you pull out the “free speech” card and your last name is Trump. So what are we really teaching our kids with this hypocrisy?

We need parents to instill human values into their children albeit Christian, Muslim, Hindu, or Jewish values that teach self respect and respect for others. God is mentioned nowhere in the Constitution. And when it came time to write the first amendment to the Constitution, the first words the founders chose----the first words they put down in the Bill of Rights----were "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion." Right after that, they allowed people to practice whatever religion they wanted. So you want the 10 Commandments up, throw 'em on the wall at home. Except the first four aren't even about being a good person. They're rules for worshipping the Christian god. If they're putting up a religious doctrine, they should put up all religious doctrines. For example; 1) One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason. 2) The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions. 3) One's body is inviolable, subject to one's own will alone. 4) The freedom of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs. 6) People are fallible. Hahaha no. This country was founded on the very first article of the constitution which says congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of a religion. You do not get to do this. You have free exercise of your religion as provided by that same amendment, but that does not mean you get to force your teachings into a public school.

But when I was a child I was 7 years old I started going to church and reading my Bible I'm still reading my Bible today in reading everything pertaining to the Bible. You're absolutely right the Sabbath is today God gave us to rest from our labors and to worship. I know for a fact that all the days of the week that we follow Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday are all names of different gods that Constantine worshiped. Constantine's mother beg Constantine to bring the Christians out of the mountains to bring them into Constantinople because she was a devout Christian. Constantinople was never a full-fledged Christian. He continued to worship His other gods. Constantine's motive for bringing the Christians out and bringing them into Constantinople was only for his own selfish purposes. Constantinople said that he saw a red cross and that it was he was supposed to build an Army and the Christians were to be a part of that army and thus he created the Knights Templar. As Constantine continue to worship His gods there was only one building to Worship and in that building on Sundays the first part of the day those who worship pagan gods would worship the pagan gods first thing in the morning and then the other half of the day the Christians would Worship in that same building. Constantinople changed the Sabbath to Sunday and that should have never happened. God makes no mistakes when he said remember the Sabbath he meant it. At 70 years old I still hear the voice of God. Jesus said, my sheep hear my voice. And I do. I said in shock at learning of how Sunday became the day of worship, dear God we have made a terrible mistake and there's no changing it back now, and God answered me in a clear voice and said, that sin is on the man's head that changed the Sabbath. The sin of changing the Sabbath to Sunday was all done by Constantine for his own selfish motives to build Constantinople into a great City. The sin is on constantinople's head. Can't change it back now and I know exactly what the Christians say and I am a Christian, they say that because Jesus rose on the first day of the week that we worship on Sundays. Not true! God never made one mistake and if he said remember the Sabbath to keep it holy then that's exactly what he meant but our world is so messed up and there are so many different interpretations but I know that God doesn't make mistakes, you're not telling this 70 year old woman anything that she doesn't ever know because I've been doing this since I was in second grade and I ate drinking slept the Bible Old Testament and New Testament and I've read every book and I've been to every church and I have even visited a synagogue. I am hungry for knowledge and I 70 years old I'm still hungry for knowledge of anything pertaining to our heavenly father and his son Jesus Christ our Messiah. I just saw something on KZread where there was a Jewish priest who died at 108 years old and he left this note he said don't open it until I am gone and in that note he said he would reveal who the Messiah was and in that note this priest set the Messiah is, Yeshua! If you don't believe me I think you're Jewish and you probably need to go talk to a Jew for Jesus and to listen to them because you got to hear all sides of the story before you can have great understanding what's really going on

The next thing that comes I'll give you a hint, nuclear war and this is what the Bible calls the abomination of desolation there are people more Scholars than myself and you that know what's going on from a Christian perspective. You haven't even picked up a Bible you're probably feeling sorry for yourself or whatever reason you don't understand that pure joy and seeing all these things come to pass because the next thing you know when it all ends we're going to be in a beautiful place where there's no more war and no more perversion no more evil politicians and no more raped babies and children and no more aborted babies. It's going to be a beautiful place the way God intended it from the very beginning when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden and they became so full of themselves because Satan tempted them and they listen to the wrong voice and you are listening to the wrong Voice or you know what's really going on.

Nothing in the 10 commandments says the government is promoting a SPECIFIC religion. There ate MANY Christian Religions. They are not promoting just one. Those 10 commandments apply to Jews as well. And other religions. Name one religion that says it is ok to commit murder? Or steal?

1-4 for are God laws for Christians believers. 8 and 10 are repetitive. 7 is about adultery and Christian do not want sex taught in schools. That leaves you with honor your parents, don't kill and don't lie. If you need to hang up ten commandments for only four actual thing you failed as a parent.

They do not specify any sect, religion or ethnicity at all. The rest are to safeguard what is due humanity, as humanity deserves. That's ALL merely good human living. I would be fine with removing the 4 specifically pointing to christianity, and leaving the last 6 since those are pretty good rules to live by.
