He could have expressed the concept of "shut up" in a less drastic wording. That's basically what skilled advocates do all the time. Wording matters, don't use street terminology in court!

Mr Mpofu tried to steal adv Muzi Sikhakhane style of addresses the commission or the court however Mr Sikhakhane is always obedient even if he becomes sarcastic but he gives respect when is due. Mr Mpofu should be ashamed of himself for his conduct really!!

Mpofu is still upset about the public humiliation Ramaphosa put him through and think he must use insult to gain public favour when in the limelight.

May be his style!Annoy and confuse the witness into incriminating himself/herself. Top lawyers are sometimes not exactly "gentlemanly".If you want to win cases you resort to dirty tricks if the law judge allow it.Just think of the lawyers in rape cases who annoy and confuse witnesses with sexual/sexist questions.

You never win by retaliating but rather use a different approach. People trained in law should know better. But if certain behaviours are allowed unfortunately the young will have no script to reference from.

His views and involvement in politics seems to be conflicted with his work at times. Yesterday utterances portrayed him as someone who is bitter and had a score to settle, of which questions his professional competence as a Silk. One can only imagine the conversations between Julius and him before yesterday cross examination.

This guy is arrogant, rude, he needs to be taught some manners and respect, thou I don't fancy Gordhan, this person has no right to speak to any person in this manner, maybe he got up this morning on the wrong side of the bed.

Whether he is a good judge or not is another matter.However what tends to cloud emotions about Zondo in particular is that he is acting against Zuma.I just wonder how many people who now dislike Zondo do so based purely on his court performance rather than their stand on the Zuma issue.

Mpofu is extremely unprofessional, you can't profess professionalism on one-hand and then disrespectful to people on the other. This goes both ways, because they shouldn't be interrupting - but Dali is an educated and professional so it's not a good light on him to be acting like this AT WORK.

I think the chair lost it too. Both of these lawyers were allowed by him to talk at the same. However, I do not think it is right for Dali Mpofu to tell the lady to shut-up. There are many polite ways of telling someone to shut-up without appearing as if you're fighting. But siseMzantsi ke ntozobawo, sonyamezela amadoda esiwathembile ephulukwa.

Thuli Mandonsela investigated, and submitted a report that certain individuals captured the state during her tenure as a PP. 1. Why is SA investigating so much money in an enquiry instead of arresting all those who were alleged to be guilty by Thuli Madonsela. 2. Thuli Madonsela's report did not say, suspected a state capture or probably they was a state capture. They concluded there was one and names of people were thrown to that report... to me arrest the people and let the courts rule. Now we listening to principals who disciplined subordinates based on corridor talks... yho!!! This state capture enquiry has gone from Human resources, Employee Relations issues. Trying to prove, what Thuli Madonsela submitted findings on.

This exposes character . (Or lack of character )

Politicians are the law makers that means they can make the law to be in their favor. What's happening the here at Zondo Commission it's just to fool the people of South Africa. Who came with the idea of ZC? Politicians not Zondo and the likes. The judges in South Africa are not respected and people don't understand the ideologies like democracy etc. Simple definition of democracy: The government of the people by the people or people shall govern. Meaning the laws will be made according to what people want, but in South Africa the democratic country nothing of such is happening. It's clear and known that such and such miss used the people's money so they must pay but till today nothing has been done. What's done here is that people are made fools and the spread of hate. Now look at one of the EFF people wanting to use race card and this is their strategy, using the race card to fulfill their agenda. Make and telling people to hate whites indirect, where by their children are studying at the white schools and likes of Mpofu have children with white woman yet they tell people to hate white, it's not that hypocrisy? Mpofu think his the cats whiskers, he think he can say what he want, when he want and to who he wants.
