I'm pretty sure the 2 times you cleaned armor was actually on stream while building Decked Out. You were trying to get leather armor that would look like Bdubs's shirt for the armor stand on the sleeping bag and you were dying the armor different shades to get it to his light blue.

@@elijaha773 The general idea is the same here. However, instead of comparing stats, you compare card combinations (called "hands"). Each player receives two cards that they are not supposed to show, and 5 cards are displayed on the table for everyone to see. You can combine your cards with those on the table to create your combination/hand. For instance, if you have a pair of Kings with you, and one of the cards on the table is another King, you now have a "three of a kind", instead of pair. There are 10 different types of combinations you can make in poker (you can look them up if you wanna know what they are). The 5 cards on the table are not all immediately shown. They are gradually revealed in consecutive rounds. There is a first round of betting with no table cards shown. Then there is a second round of betting with three cards shown. There are then 2 other rounds, each revealing a new card. If you feel you have a good hand, you can bet in a way that will entice other people to bet thus maximizing your gains. Or, if you have nothing, you can try bluffing to get other people's previous bets. But this is poker strategy and would be another topic.

@@aserta I don't think they will do that for 1.17. They did with the Nether Update because they only had to reset the nether. But 1.17 changes so much about the overworld that they will definitely want a total reset, nobody will want to play in the old 1.16 terrain. And given the changes to things like world height, I'm not sure it will even be possible to load 1.16 worlds in the next update.

Sounds like a reference to Close to the Edge. I've noticed ethos making more references to prog rock. This episode is incidentally 18:41 which is the exact running time of Close to the Edge track.

BDubs fought a bunch of evokers with Scar when they raided the Mycelium Resistance's headquarters and they triggered Docm77's evoker trap. If there were a stat for "Hoglins beaten to death by maps" BDubs would win. BDouble0100 episode: "I Pranked the Resistance! :: Hermitcraft #38"

Etho is in fact nicknamed Ladders, mostly by Beef and PauseUnpause (and himself) as a reference to him being the one to take care of the ladders in many of the maps they played together as Team Canada. I could probably break that sentence up but I don't feel like it.

I'm shocked that Etho, the noteblock king, doesn't have the most "noteblocks tuned". Its even better that its because Keralis slept with an afk fishfarm going for 20hrs straight.

This might be my favourite episode of the entire season. You all just sitting back and reaping the fruits of your labours from a very early episode where you built this amazing game. We've been asking for a rematch with Stat Poker and you delivered! Thank you so much! 7:22 Etho DOES have many nicknames and Ladders is his most famous. It comes from Team Canada - Beef actually coined it, as well as the catchphrase "eyyy, I go up and I go down" with the NY teamsters' accent which was a huge improvement on Etho's initial "moving vertically" catchphrase. Beef, Pause, and Etho all use it several times in their Team Canada series, of which there are also several series. Etho even used it again in his LP 558. Oh wow, I would have never predicted that winner! This was so much fun! Thanks for making it happen. Love that Bdubs and Keralis were apart of the rematch!

When the accessories like jackets/hats/sleeves and stuff came out, Etho updated his skin to look more three dimensional. As a joke, and not having anything to put in the "jacket" layer, he put his face in the middle of his torso. He usually it off.

I started watching Hermitcraft early in Season 6 - while I enjoyed it a lot I don't feel like seasons need to go on quite that long. So I am OK with Season 7 ending when they feel ready.

This is a side project but it would be cool to have a roller coaster throughout toon towers, with jump scares, flying anvils, loopty loops, the whole Shabang.

Imagine doing this in season 8 with mumbo and the stat is mobs killed

The climbing is combined with ladders, scaffolding and vines.

When you complete your Among Us game, you need a way to have everyone keep statistics like “number of times ejected” or “number of crew mates killed”. Maybe give everyone a board similar to decked out or a book where they can write down their own stats. Maybe you can do something down the road for the Hermits who hold the highest stats.

As someone who had to take a burnout break from Minecraft last Fall and has fallen hopelessly behind on Hermitcraft episodes, being able to watch something like this without needing to know the context of the past few weeks is a nice treat.
