Starve.io - 11 Quests with Winter Hood (Solo)
I never thought I would pull this off! I knew it was hard to have both a bag and a book in time for hood quest, and it's even harder to do the entire forest without taking damage.
I said I needed a diamond sword to kill the lava dragon. This is because of the trap method I used to kill it. As you probably know, I need to finish the dragon off inside the lava biome, once it is low on health. The easiest way to know it's low on health is to see that the wall is low on health. This works because the lava dragon has 3000 health, and a wood wall has 1000 health, so both take the same number of hits if the sword has 3 times as much damage as building damage. A diamond sword has 24 damage and 8 building damage, so it works. But a stone sword has 19 and 6, and a gold sword has 22 and 7, so these don't work as well.

Next challenge is 12 quests with hood, right? Right? The problem is that I would take extra time in the first day to open the chests. I might have time to make a bag, but not a book. So I'll do 10 or 11 quests without a book first. Do you want to see 11 quests without a book?

@@nguyenhoanggiahuy8790 I've tried vampire mode, but I always get killed by humans in the daytime. They think it's funny to kill someone who's stuck under a roof. Taco4Life used walls to protect himself, but then it's not solo.

I don't craft dia sword in winter at first, I just make a stone/gold sword and a dia shovel to save time When I done the desert quests, I go back to the forest and then winter to prep dia sword, bridges, walls and doors and then I kill lava dragon; usually when I complete 10 quests, I still have 2 days left to kill lava dragon so I take time and prep

Since I was doing winter hood, I had extra time in winter, so why not make a diamond sword?

Why is it spinning when killing spiders?
I got to winter 1.5 mins earlier several times, so it's actually possible to do treasure quest

I did too, in my 10 quests video, but I wasn't doing life quest, so I was sloppier when killing the animals. But tbh, I'm not really interested in 12 quests with winter hood, or the normal 12 quests. It's too rng dependent. You have to manipulate the islands and hope no one steals your chests.
Idk why, today I tried 11 quests, when I was killing lava drag with an ame pick, it died, I didn't see any box appear, I took the sword out and swing randomly then got killed by flame mobs It's like, idk if it was my wifi being bad or the game glitched, but I've been through this problem twice (I killed it near the bottom border of lava biome)

Hmmm, Idk either. Sometimes mobs just despawn. Were you using the same trap technique that I did, or did you use a pickaxe the whole way?

@@nguyenhoanggiahuy8790 When I use that pickaxe method, I stack the lava dragon with fire mobs, then I lag and lose ice. So I prefer trapping.
Ok but I think you should do it in an empty unmodded private server that has no one, so that you don't use others' workbench and roof And a tip to trap dragon (works for me): I build a 2x3 trap, 2 doors, 4 walls, I just need to go straight instead of diagonal, useful for beginners like me (yea my internet lags I can't go between the walls)

First, I understand why an unmodded private server would make sense, but most viewers would get mad at me for that; you're the opposite. I actually played on WA, since that server is basically dead, even though it's glitched so I can't ear golden bread. Now for the trap. The 2x2 trap is the cheapest, and most consistent for me. Yes I had issues with it this time, but that was because my frame rate was bad, and I didn't enter at the correct angle. I can usually trap a dragon first try (and I did with the lava dragon).

@@blobs2635 whats the best angle? i sometimes get stuck on the middle of the wall and cant go through, what do i do in that situation? or can i only wait for death

@@seargentyeet880 45 degrees, but you basically need to be moving right along the diagonal; you only have a fraction of a tile of wiggle room. If you start moving along an axis, it's better to change to diagonal slightly late than slightly early, although the reason this works is pretty technical.

I don't use autoquest. Edit: I asked Xmre, the guy who makes scripts. Apparently autoquest doesn't exist yet, and it just sends a bot to do each quest individually, then give the quests to you. You can't even use autoquest to do 2 quests at once, let alone 11.
