Thank you for the video. I’m currently a freshman at a 4 year college, but I have no interest in any of the majors here and just don’t see myself completing it. I’m researching dropping out to take this path but I’m kinda nervous.

My community College only offers General and Vascular, but I want to do Cardiovascular ultrasound. I'm just a bit worried with how I am going to be able to transition over to that lane within the 5 year time frame of taking the SPI exam. Would I have to shadow someone who does echo or let my school know I want to do cardiovascular for my clinicals instead of the general route? Thank you for the help!

She briefly mentions that you might want to go into vascular if you want something more "chill". Does anyone know why vascular might be considered more chill than the other two?

Hi Kristy! I watched a couple of your vedios and have known your channel for a while. I’m preperating for this career and working on program applications. However, I am wondering about the occupational injuries related to general Sonographers. I did the research online. Looks like about 80% of the Sonographers have some kind of muscular injuries like pain in shoulder, back, or arm. I’m so worryed about this whiling pursuing this profession. What do you think about this? Any of your advice? Will really appreciate!

Hello! So I've recently graduated university with a BS of Psych, but I've been interested in starting a program in neurosonography and was wondering how exactly I go about that. I'd love to know where to start for this fall!

Hi! I apologize in advance for this being extensive. I had just got into the DMS program at Indiana University Northwest, which is great. After talking to an individual about his 9-year experience as a Sonographer, he only had negative opinions. He stated how physically tired he was, the extensive work hours, and how difficult it is to barely get by. This gave me the worst anxiety because, through your videos and others, I have seen that, just as in any other job, it can cause you to burn out and become physically tired. I worry that I will face difficult financial troubles and/or not have a healthy work-life balance, and I truly don't want to be put into that position. I know this is a career I feel I belong in, but is there any advice you can give me about this? I know there are ways to expand in this career, be in a healthy work-life balance, and be able to have pay that provides sufficient financial stability. When you have the chance, I would love to hear your advice. Thank you!

Hi did she get back with you? This is a great point. I am halfway through my program and have seen videos speaking on this certain subject relating to ergonomics and work related injuries.

Thank you so much for your helpful tips and information! Honestly, thanks to your video, I was able to understand what an ultrasound actually was. When I saw the word "ultrasound", I automatically used to think of looking at ultrasound images from a pregnant woman and never thought that there were going to be different pathways 😅. Although I have a question, if anyone knows, does sonography has a bachelor's degree or just the certification program? Is ob/gyn known as a specialization such as a master degree where you have to go to a university? Again, thank you for your helpful info!

I am attending one year accelerated cardiac sonography and my program promise me I will be taking the CCI exam, I just noticed this program is not accredited, but the school has been open for more than 50 years. Would this make it hard for me to find a job. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you 😊
