Shroud- Loads in a random spot, runs around finds a gun, kills scavs and other players, profit. Me- loads into random spot, runs a few feet, shot in the head by someone in a bush

Seeing you play this undergeared helped me a lot, I kinda tried to emulate your playstyle being really careful and sneaky and waiting for the perfect time to strike, avoiding the fights you can't win, and I got it second run. Took down three players, for me that's an insane killcount. I rarely get actual player kills. Took out two keycards and two awesome guns and actually managed to extract playing it real slow and patient.

Thats the way to play early on, next thing you should focus on is map awareness/memorization and item costs memorization. Helps alot to know exactly whats good and whats not and where most players and scavs will be.

Shroud hardcores a raid and comes out with more gear than i've managed to extract with in 2 weeks of playing. haha

Domus deBellum yeah. Barely 2 weeks. I’ve managed to extract maybe 3 or 4 times. It’s been pretty brutal. And 3 or 4 times I managed to get loaded down with stuff only to see the raid timer run out while I’m within sight of an extract. Feels bad man.

this is sick, cant wait to see more of this series.

As soon as he found the first SKS, everyone else on the map: "Why do I hear boss music?"

Watching shroud play Tarkov actually helped improved my game. I get to dive into his thought process of where the enemy be or which dangerous angle to be aware of or which is the best angle to approach a fight at what situation. Or angles that he just checks that I never check plus it makes sense to check for potential free kills.

Shroud is about as scared as everyone else but when they start out. It's actually kind of cute.

Please do more of these. This is great.

They should add an official hard core option to the game that limits everything like he is doing but has an xp boost to level stats up faster, say 25%

Seethus I think this kind of thing is very niche and only really prevalent in streamers for entertainment value and because of this I feel like it would be a waste of developers time when there’s bigger issues like the sound design.

I'll probably just do that as the effort involved in editing a couple hours of gameplay is too much to ask Shroud to do since he's busy streaming.

@@SocksTBH He has an editor make these videos, I'm pretty sure. Like, the dude who cuts these together is on a payroll. The issue is that these videos tend to be very self-contained. Also, ain't nobody got time to sit on Mixer with Shroud when you can't guarantee that it'll be any interesting. These videos are amazing because it takes all the clips that are interesting and mashes them together. Sitting in the stream, it could be like 10 hours of absolutely fucking nothing, with 5 minutes of intense action.

Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if they introduced a HC mode into the game in some form. Might be interesting if they gave you pockets like Shturman has but no secure container, disable the flea market, remove everything but barter offers from traders and disable insurances.

Imagine they code hard core like this, and your scav characters inventory is locked, and he turns intro a progressive trader that your main character can trade with the items you find and extract as the scav, and the trade offers change depending on your scavs level,health and how many trades you have made etc. im sure there could be all kinds of cool ways of impacting the system in negative and positive ways like as an example, scav dies = negative impact on the trade offers, scav extracts with full health= positive impact on trade offers. could maybe tie in quests some how i bet. would be awesome lol
