The section from cascade locks to trout lake tends to be a green tunnel. But that means lots of berries. But also lots of mosquitos in general. So it’s a trade off. Goat rocks and cispus pass and knifes edge are spectacular if you get decent weather. Since you were having that prolonged heat wave I’m sure you got great views. But unfortunately more bugs.
