Organizing my studio & caring for my supplies is so enjoyable for me. I walk into my studio & immediately feel peace & joy.
Love the drawers!! Tip, maybe leave one drawer empty if you organize the rest by color so that you can use it as a tray for loading up with project media that travels to the desk.
I also reorganized all my supplies at the beginning of the year. Like you, I had been storing pencils by brand for long, but last year I decided to change and now they’re all together in jars separated by colour on top of a lazy Susan. I find this way I use them so much more. You’re right, it has to be easy to reach.
I just purchased their drafting table it’s wonderful…..was very surprised how nice their 100% paper is

Maybe for the people who want to know, I could fit two layers of pencils on top of each other. So in one big hole of the tray’s I can put in 20 Holbeinpencils or 18 Derwent Ligtfast pencils. Maybe you see the color not all t once, but I know green is by green and blue is by blue

Alyona I love this! I always go through my studio and reorganize in January and then move on to the rest of the house. (Which I'm doing now) I never wait for spring anymore because I'd rather be gardening or hiking and sketching at that time. Let us know how you like the new waterpot long term. I had a jar I used for years. It's still in the studio for nostalgic reasons. I replaced it about 6yrs ago with a modern basic porcelain bowl from target (round). When I use dark and staining colours I use two pots of water. I have a smaller square bowl from the same line for my "dirty" water dish. I really liked switching to porcelain. It allows me to see if the brush had rinsed out all the way due to the white background. As far as pallettes....I have 2 styles currently. I have Korean veg plates similar to the rectangle you have but it has 2 dividers as they stack. I also got rid of all my daisy dishes because they took up too much space for my liking and replaced them with Yasutomo porcelain mixing dishes and 1 bought about 10 of them from BlickArt. They fit my work space and fit my hand nicely while painting. ❤

Oh I just had a lovely idea. Since you have your good luck jar you could fill it with water and charge your crystals in it. Then you have something with those vibes easing the transition. It could even be something wearable 💛💍💎
