I'm having trouble with a new Syntec 6ma machine and I saw your great videos and I'm hoping maybe you could help me out. The problem is that I can't bring the rpm above 2000rpm. I've change the parameter in monitor mode and it reads that fine, but the actual speed will simple not change from 2000 rpm. If I write a program with rpm of 15000, it will read this speed but the ''actual rpm'' at 100% still won't change from 2000. Do you know what the problem is? It's killing me not getting this thing going. Thanks in advance, Oscar

Looking at purchasing a Roctech 3 axis router and it has a Syntec controller. The salesman only knows the basics. Figure you may be able to help. Can you set a "max depth" with this controller so it will not go too deep into the spoil board? Can you digitize a tool path? Move the cutter around with the handheld controller and save points for trim/cut paths and for 3 point arcs....start point, mid point and end point.

Thank You Lee for the video... When you turn on the air to the machine... does the spindle blow some compressed air out the bottom all the time? I know that it blows some air to blow off dust during tool changes... I just got a machine with that same HSD es929 spindle... Mine seems to hiss compressed air all the time. I can hit the green button, and it releases the tool, and I can insert another, release the button, and it will hold it just fine... Seems like having the air hiss all the time would be wrong, or defective. THank you...

Frankmali17 HI Frank, yes the his is completely normal, it is used for cooling on the high speed bearings and also to keep ejected material ( swarf ) out of the spindle

Frankmali17 We use a specified type of liner guide oil designed for slideways called Drosera MS 68 it seems to do the job nicely lubebase.com/cgi-bin/ctl/lube/Total-DROSERA-MS-68?id=247
