    I am a huge fan of the "how to get machinery going after it's been sitting", type segments. It's usually the first step needed to get excited about a project. Keep it up guys.

    Something I always do on a engine that has been sitting for a while,after you turn it over by hand is crank the engine with the starter a few times before putting the plugs in to build up oil pressure it makes it easier on starter.Good tip on the battery.Cool car .

    We have big plans that are in the works. For now we know that we are doing RRS suspension (it is already here). A Modern Driveline five-speed is in the works and a 347 Ford small block that is on the engine stand. There are other things, but we have not finalized those.

    10:45 Explain how you can tell there's a misfire? If the card rattles evenly, it's ok, and if the card rattles unevenly, there's a misfire?

  • @AutoRestoMod

    @AutoRestoMod

    3 жыл бұрын

    Steady fast beat, it is OK. uneven beat could be: a points distributor, fouled plug (ours was a fouled plug), or maybe a sticking valve, though the last is less likely.
