Hi, Amy. Interesting. Lots to consider. It's more than just simply looking at your creation and saying "I could sell these...". Not to be a Debbie downer, sharing with your Facebook family will open your eyes to some red flags in identifying those who are really open to supporting you. More often than not, a total stranger will support your business as oppose to your family friends. Now this is true for my family, please save comments if this doesn't apply to you. By no means should you give up. You will get a steady rhythm flowing.

Isn't that just the craziest thing, I know it's true. Myself I think I'd support my friend or family..I just don't understand, even if no money is involved they still don't. If you check the video, it will show you. Mostly locally sourced bags, low footprint, eco products, as well as custom wares. I have two labels - sewecocanada and yanoversyardage. I’m currently in treatment for cancer so everything is on hold(unless someone wants to buy old stock)

Great idea. I can go into this at length on my next live. But with my website, which is Shopify, people can use any credit card or visa debit. At craft shows I use a “Square”, which allows people to use debit or credit. And with sales from FB/Instagram, I use PayPal or etransfer.
