One of the issues I had using the Miya Himi Jelly Gouache set was how it all reactivates the moment you add more layers, even a day or two later. I didn't know if I would enjoy gouache so I had gotten a set of those 50-some little tub sets for cheap...and I DO enjoy gouache after painting with them...but if you say I can make layers that will not activate later...that would be a game changer!

Watercolor and gouache get activated with water for sure, but acrylics don’t. So Acrylic gouache looks like gouache ( Matt finish) but acts like acrylics 😊
