Right on! Crashlander propbs wouldn't have enough new things to do for them.

Kosmo. At 13:59, the game warns you about nearing the tech reactor capacity. It states: "Your reactor is nearing its capacity, overloading the reactor is dangerous." And at 14:13, the game shows you the message for overloading the tech. It clearly states the following. "Tech is overloaded. Repair and power regeneration functionalities have been reduced." While you're driving your tech, there's a temperature gauge in the lower-left corner of your screen showing you the tech's temperature ascending into the red zone. On top of all of this text and visual hints that tell you about it, the tech reactor capacity takes 15% of your screen. And it visually changes its colors to yellow, and then to red. And yet, you still failed to see these messages and warning.

Perfect! Some small hints: 1. you can store parts in tech yard 2. check parts bonuses. For example, if you attach wheels to a frame it costs less reactor load 3. you can grab fragmenter with wind turbine and refine chunks in place 4. grab reward from quests and unlock new parts in tech yard 5. you can take parts from all buildings and expand your base

6. In the lower left, there is some important HUD stuff. 6.1 Your tech temperature. (e.g., that one time you were overheating because your tech power reactor was overloaded) 6.2 Your tech battery level. When you use your mining laser (and other future parts) it'll consume battery energy. When you don't use it for a second or two, it'll automatically regenerate. 6.3 Your repair thingy tokens. When you're damaged (no matter slightly shot or everything but your cab destroyed) you can press R to repair fully. It uses 1 of these. When at your tech yard, it also repairs you fully and also restocks all your repair-tokens-to-go©. 7. I think you completely ignored the text hints. It says stuff like the repair R thing and that you're nearly overloaded or that you are overloaded and will start to overheat. Also, in the very beginning, it said that the bigger ores and trees have one or multiple seams (a red glowing crack). If you're keep mining at this point, the object will break faster and, therefore, yield more resources. 8. Sorry for the long text. This is a short one: Keep it going!

9. While downing Enemy Techs, be on the lookout for special Parts like 'Frames', 'Axles', and 'Weapon Mounts'... they are key Tech Parts for doin more with less with your Reactor Points.

FYI, you can counter Lightning from storms using a roof (be it a tree or a base). Bases are immune to Lightning. There is also the portable lightning rod, but it must be actively used, and costs battery power to keep active.

Kosmo: *overloads reactor* Also Kosmo: Bro, why am I blowing up? Why am I glowing red? Kan: Did you overload the reactor??? I imagine this happens a lot. lol

I've been trying out this demo too and there's a laundry list of questions that I still have. I feel like the learning curve is steep. One that took me forever to figure out was the portable lightning rod. You have to press a button to make it extend and absorb lightning.

Yeah. The startup is unfinished, and does not hold your hand enough. But it's not helped by the fact that most people refuse to read, or do the tutorial.

Yes more Coop of this only seen ppl played single player so far.

I've played the demo extensively already and I give it a gold seal of approval (for what it is). There is only so much you can do with a demo, though. Make those episodes count

this is actually the sequel to the original Terratech. it's got a ton of improvements over the original, but ive also seen a few things that are worse than the original.

enjoying the series, hope you guys continue, few hints/tips, you can steal/repurpose blocks from found structures, you can turn off buildings to conserve power consumption/requirements, and you can target the red lines in resources to break them up and mine faster, also you guys just built in a bad spot i think, when i was playing the demo lighting wasnt that common where i was building, but most importantly have fun guys =]

I always wanted to play this game, but by the time I got a computer that could handle it, I had forgotten, I look forward to not only watching your guys series, but I also can't wait to get it myself!

build Wind or Solar units to take over power generation saving your carbon for other stuff. the assorted bases and such can be stolen to build your base larger. Lightning Rods will protect you from lightning and are available for both bases and vehicles. Boulders give silicon. Quartz does as well and also gives a bit of gold lithium comes from Electrotrees which you can kill so long as you keep your distance!

The "em field" ball plants and the other aggressive flora gives lithium, as a low drop. Dunno if it's in kAN and Kosmo's version though.

Enjoying the series. Keep it coming. - TIP - Hide under the trees till the lightning passes or build a roof over your base.

Place a lightning rod on your base station and your vehicle and you will no longer get destroyed by lightning. You can use this to go pick up destroyed techs in the lightning trees. You can leave parts to draw them in, as well. You can go to distant structures and break them apart. Each piece can stack up to ten identical pieces in the same storage space. This will save you a lot of resources and building. There are big techs at the cold icy areas, but you have to draw them out, otherwise you will freeze and break apart. The big techs have plasma cannons, so you'll need to use a lot of firepower to take them out quickly. One good practice when fighting, is to collect the techs pieces you blast off. This will keep them from repairing themselves before you can finish them off. Also, if you can target and break their guns and scoop them up before they can repair themselves, then they are defenseless and easy to pick off. You can install street lights/lamps to light up your base. You can install multiple storage bins/silo's to hold lots of stuff. When taking parts from towers, you can find various constructed units, ready to install at your base.

Brilliant start Kosmo, there's a steep learning curve for this game. Do you want more tips and tricks for playing or would you like to learn and figure it out in colab with kAN? I've got 15+ hours in the demo and can probably provide the hints you could need.

Quick tip on determining the flat factor(which is 0) of the Earth: sample size, being higher from the surface will yield a larger sample size(if your high enough you'll begin to have a sample so big you can SEE EARTH'S CURVATURE). A planet can look flat from the surface(just look at images taken by Mars rovers). If you didn't know one thing that the Ancient Greeks (or some other civilization, but if I remember correctly it was Ancient Greece) somehow got a extremely accurate measurement of Earth's radius.

I want to see more of this.

Hmm… Never played TerraTech before, but it seems interesting! It has solid foundation, just needs a bit of graphic tweaking... like... dark spots are too dark, brights are blinding and the mist/haze gets too "opaque?" looking forward to future episodes! Specially the coop part gonna be 🔥

That's mostly KZread compression, making the graphics distorted. Try out the demo if it's still up, or the old Terratech for a somewhat different experience.

In case you guys are still playing, here's a comment that will actually help, rather than me giving you a hard time for not noticing a whole quarter of the screen in your inventory. XD You should have learned from the tutorial how to take snapshots of your vehicles. However, the tutorial doesn't show you how to unlock new blocks. If I remember from my playing, there should be a couple tabs in your inventory, such as the crafting tab, and one of those should be the block catalog. You can buy part licenses in there. "Well that's great xiphido, but I'm not able to make money yet," I hear you saying. As far as I know, that is the case. Maybe it's the demo. Maybe it's that I didn't make it that far. Either way, this extra tip will be SUPER helpful in the future. Take a minute to go to your tech yard and go into your normal inventory where you can access these tabs. If you pay attention to the end of that tab list, there should be a few extra tabs that you can access while at your tech yard where you can accept the rewards for all the little missions you guys keep accomplishing. YOU'RE WELCOME! THE GAME NEVER TELLS YOU THIS! Lastly, and this is actually the most important tip. MODIFIERS, MODIFIERS, MODIFIERS! The is a block group in the game known as modifiers, and most (if not all of them) will have an effect on other blocks DIRECTLY attached to these modifiers. Just in case you didn't notice it, they should have some wording that tells you what blocks will be effected. Hope this helps, because holy hell, this demo explains NOTHING!

Always loved building In the first game. Looking forward to seeing what both of you make for your ultimate tech.

I played a fair bit of terratech original. It definitely made it so there wasn't much to motivate you for build a base there unless you wanted to mine resources for a brief profit. This game definitely makes a real deal out of base building!

you can place a lighting rod on your base, so you wont get hit around it. also there's a portable lighting rod to put on your tech, same affect, smaller affect.

you can collect the parts of the crane thing.

You can loot all the bits of the tower, and use them to expand your base.

Base lightning rod are a great boon in addition to lightning protection.

Saw on another playthrough, I think it was RCE, where you can use the laser to take parts off the structures on the hills

No, he pulled the parts off at the bottom and when there wasn't any connection to ground anymore, everything above collapsed due to gravity. If you use mining laser on a base block, it reappears in a light gray crate at 100% health. So remember to anchor your base.

That's for all types of ore or other resources, even the trees like kAN experienced getting crushed.

The lightning is really overkill. Most of the discussions giving feedback complained about that. It's looking like a good game besides
