That’s how things use to be. Go to the auto parts and buy rebuild kits for everything from your calipers to your starter and alternators as we only had so many models and most used interchangeable parts. A visit to the local wrecker and you find people of this skill. It’s capacity and necessity that make resilience. All in the eye of the beholder.

Is it posibel to turn bendix direction? I have disel starter motor who I modified direction of spining but the bendix does not spin the same way as me old starter motor . I simply modified gasoline engine with disel starter motor in short . Evry thing is the same parts nearly identical but I have problem with that bendix the grewes are counter drilled . I solve starter motor direction be cutting 2 insulated brush holders and make them all brushes insulated and put 2 thick leads for + and - . So fare only problem I have is the bendix rotation . Can that clutch mechanism be disabeled ore re wersed to run in oposite direction? Thank you

Jajajajaja no mas le cambio los resortes que no servian jajajajajaja....y el ajuste del piñon con los rodillos?,esa función se debe hacer para que quede calibrado y tenga la fuerza necesaria para arrancar el motor del vehículo
