00:00 Mind Pump Fit Tip: Here is an easy way to control your appetite, your energy, and to improve behaviors that lead to healthier eating. START your day off with a high protein, high fiber meal.
12:25 Justin is no longer the ‘cake’ master.
24:32 Nature vs. nurture in raising successful kids.
37:22 What else is there they can make EXTREME?
39:22 What does security mean in a modern/safe world?
46:30 Kids go through phases.
52:55 The best pre-workouts are NOT the ones that give you the most stimulants, but the ones that know how to balance calm compounds with stimulant compounds.
56:23 Shout out to Harry Mack.
59:15 #Quah question #1 - Is there any point trying to build muscle after 40? Or at this point should I be focusing more on maintenance, being leaner, and longevity?
1:06:18 #Quah question #2 - What is the difference between seated vs standing calf raises? I don't have a seated machine in my gym. Are we splitting hairs, or is it a big difference?
1:10:25 #Quah question #3 - I’ve been seeing a lot of growing popularity with Zercher squats & deadlifts. Is there a benefit to those over traditional squats or deadlifts?
1:15:30 #Quah question #4 - Can I do unilateral training indefinitely? Or should it only be used to fix symmetry issues?

4 eggs and a 4-6 ounce beef cut has completely changed my eating. I can go 5+ hours n not feel hungry at all . And it’s only 500-550 calories and over 60 grams protein so it sets me to get my protein intake easily

My family owns a gelato place in Roseville, the mind pump boys are always welcome to stop by 💪🏼 also Adam gelato does not have honey lol. The difference between gelato and ice cream is gelato is 80% milk and 20% cream (ice cream is 50/50), and Doug is right, the way it’s churned is at a higher temperature and it puts less air into it, making it denser.

I am sooooooo excited for when my daughter's old enough for story time. I'm a hobbyist writer, so I have a ton of stories to tell her and I'll enjoy a lot of improv, too. That kind of creativity and connection to your kids must be like a parenting/life hack. I imagine there are so many benefits to the parent and kid. My mom read my brother and me the Harry Potter books when we were younger. All of them. It literally took us about twelve years to get through all of them. It was a cool way to bond and started out a bedtime story for my brother and me and turned into a pre-bed hangout activity once we were older.

This is so timely for me. I’ve dealt with chronic constipation for as long as I can remember. I finally clued in to the fact my fiber and water intake is most likely to blame. I have spent this past week tracking fiber and have seen a small improvement. I’m hoping that it gets even better as I continue on. Definitely notice a satiety effect as well by increasing both.

I found when I first did the zercher deadlift in Strong it helped me improve in my regular deadlift that I wasn’t always confident that I was doing correctly. Helped me connect to the muscles better. I enjoy doing them, actually doing Strong for my 2nd time now. One of my favorite programs.

I had 2 jobs in college, but they were closely tied to my majors (and therefore the university capped the amount of hours I could take on). That's why I agree with Sal. I worked REALLY hard in college--154 credits in 4 years so I didn't really have time for your traditional food service job. But if that's what other people need to stay disciplined in school, then so be it.

I grew up in a single parent home, raised by my mother, and the oldest of the bunch. My mindset has always been "do what you need to do to survive". Fast forward to today, I find myself in a relationship for 10 years and feel like I have been taking the reins in my heterosexual relationship. From time to time I have to "slow my role" because I honestly feel like my partner might feel emasculated. With that said, I would much rather have a partner that is in tune with their emotions because as an independent woman, I need emotional stability rather than financial. Times have definitely changed!

46:44 😂 Don't worry Adam, I sit to pee too. My aim is abysmal and the clean up is a waste of both time and resources.

I find high protein high fat in the morning is way better. High fiber leaves me with gas and feeling sluggish all day. Leave the carbs and everything else for later on when you need to slow down.

While I can agree with some of the points you guys are making about safety and security. Emotional and being the leader of the house, etc. But there is also still evil in the world. Crime is up in certain states and lacks the punishment of criminals in a lot of blue states. I work with a lot of law enforcement officers, and I work with law enforcement in two different states. The most common thing they say is buy a gun, get training because we are coming to take the report. They can't be everywhere all the time or even on time. Also the jails are letting criminals go all the time.

I have been carnivore for over a year and feel better than I have felt in decades. I am slowly adding back some vegetables although not for fiber but for added nutrients. I do not have constipation problems. Oatmeal is the absolute worst for my gut it causes gas, bloating and diarrhea. I disagree with Adam here, I don’t think you need fiber to function if you adjust your fats correctly. In the end do what works best for your body.

Is the early 90s insult (ie. Mighty Ducks, etc) of calling someone a "cake eater" referring to ass cakes? It never clicked till all this "cake" talk, now it makes it a legit insult! 🤣🎂😮

If I'm cutting, do I still have to hit my 1g per 1lb bw protein target, or can it be less?
