With the technical beginner's education based on the RYA's windsurfing teaching models, the iQFOiL video guide is here to make learning windsurfing and foiling more accessible than ever before.
Minimising costs for parents, clubs and federations and offering a simple, streamlined pathway for kids while growing participation at all levels of the sport is one of the mission statements of the new iQFOiL class. That's also why the Junior and Youth equipment was designed for kids to learn their first steps on the same board that they will later take their first flights on and even keep racing till they are U19’s. The iQFOiL Youth gear has been selected for the next 4 years for the World Sailing Youth World Championships.

It's very fun! I love the feeling of zipping along above the water in near total silence. Also, you can get going in much lighter wind than regular windsurfing. It's not easy though. If you can windsurf, it doesn't mean you can just jump on a foil kit and go. Watch this video carefully because there's a lot of good advice in here.

Awesome instructional video. And.....please call it what it is: a "foil strut", and NOT a "foil mast". A "mast" is the object that is above the water, attaches to the board via a mast extension and mast base, and that provides the support and a leading edge for the sail.

@@liamparker7087 Bro Liam....everyone on Planet Earth, except for me and a close friend, uses the term "foil mast". He and I, though, have begun the revolution!! So please comply: begin now using the proper terminology, and share the message - it is the "FOIL STRUT"!!!! 😃
