Every video you make comes with more great content and useful information. Thanks again coach, this also ties in well with yesterday's (Monday) live regarding "getting your shit together". Getting a good handle on daily/weekly schedule. with everyone having different things going on in life (be it work, kids, family, recreational activities, etc.) sometimes it can feel daunting "fitting in" those important things like enough sleep, proper diet/nutrition, training, etc. But it's all a matter of scheduling and putting the time aside. Less netflix, less shit TV, less social media scrolling, there are always things we can cut out. thanks again Eugene!

Good stuff mate. Love that you support your training partner. Looking forward to see the changes and how your body reacts. You’ve been there before and know how it feels same with me. I like the way I look now. Of course we could always be leaner but for me right now it’s more important to feel good and enjoy life and that’s exactly what I do thanks to your help. 💪🏻💪🏻. Thanks Eugene.

As usual you deliver high quality contents... Thank you for that! I follow you for your huge expertise in weight lifting, but I am also curious obout a tshirt that you often wear, that black one of Inosanto Academy (I have the same tshirt too). As a JKD and Kali Instructor, I would like to know if you practice some discipline of Inosanto Academy. If so, maybe you would like to do a video on how to train with weights for martial arts: there is a huge debate in Italy on that topic!
Thanks for sharing your approach

My entire life Ive been supporting a moderate amount of sessions per week (4-5) for recovery/longevity and all that. But the past year my eyes have been opened to the benefits of ~6 sessions per week. If you further spread your volume out to 6 days, each day might only need to have a measly 4 exercises. That sounds even BETTER for recovery since its so much more manageable. Plus higher quality
What a legend 👏🏽
Very valuable!Thank you!

Nice I do a similar style. Since the q uarentine I train 4 days but I do the front (quads, chest, shoulders, biceps) and back (back, hams, calves, tris). I do steady state cardio on 2 days a weeks with calisthenics thrown in on those days

I like how you handle your nutrition. When cooking things it's impossible to track each gram and each kcal.
Great insights Eugene! I'm someone who's always trained 5 days a week and have been following a push/pull routine for probably too long now. In terms of transitioning to a 4 day training cycle, would my calories have to reflect this by dropping slightly?
Knowledge is spoken here.

Hi Thank you Eugene for alla what you do to educate us... My Question is what to do when you are in a diet but so much in a low carbohydrate and you don’t shred fat anymore ? Thank bro .

Awesome vid! being poractive towards your training, diet and lifestyle rather then being reactive goes ALONG way! thanks for the insights.

Yes! Thank you
Thanks for sharing your overview run down on your approach. I myself did a couple of months of fullbody 4x a week and ran into knee issues despite using strategic variation, so i dropped legs from two sessions, and reduced weekly frequency to 3, carrying over my fourth day into the following week, because I find the 4th session always suffers from not being fully recuperated from the 3rd, despite varying angles, or heads of muscles. So there goes Israetel's theory for a 4 session minimum per week. I find 2 upperbody and 2 fullbody sessions per microcycle easily doable, and the 3 sessions per week keeps me healthy, no sore throat, which comes with poor recuperation and excessive weekly frequency and or in session volume my experience. I may try 4 fullbody sessions per microcycle again, but with this 3 sessions per week limit, to see if I can do it successfully, avoid knee issues, and if I benefit, but we'll see. But yeah, youre right. With my high frequency experiment, i realized that some muscles can be worked with very high frequency and benefit, while others not, and some of these will "complain" loudly, ie tendonitis or what not.
Just started my cut last week! I like your approach quite a lot. Question- what do you think about push/quads, pull/hams split, but 6 days a week. The idea being to keep volume per session lower, but providing that stimulus for growth 3x per week?
@coacheugeneteo
3 жыл бұрын
As long as you can recover from it, it's fine!
Great content again dude and insightful knowledge. Considering your workout split as been doing a Push Pull Legs for some time. Looking for a new alternative. Just wondering, you said you were mainly concerned about Protein intake when tracking calories. Do you want calories e.g My fitness pal etc or do you go from instinct
The dude starting a cut when being more defined that me after 420 cuts xD. OMG THE STUFF WITH COOKING A CHICKEN AND THEN SPREADING IT THROUGH MEALS IS AMAZING, great tip!!!!
Can you make a KZread perfect gym workout series of upper/lower/push/pull/legs? Perfect in the sense the way you approach stuff with those exercises for maximal stimulus from them Btw loved the insights in the video

Thank you Eugene for this, I heard you list off the workouts you do each day as a part of your program, how do you think about working out specific muscle groups for each workout day? For example, I have heard people say that they workout their upper body one day and lower body another day. Any guidance on how to think about this? Appreciate it!
Such good scientific content great 👍
