    So happy for you guys. Wish I could have a high tunnel but I live on a city lot, haha. I do have little hoop tunnels on my raised beds but a high tunnel in this freezing Alberta Canada weather would be awesome, need to get me an acreage. Oh I forgot I am 75 🙂

    YES! LANDSCAPE FABRIC! I’ve watched so many greenhouse builds and it always made me confused as to why they didn’t put in the extra step to stop weeds from creeping in after struggling to make the interior weed free.

    I hit a rock on one of my rods too. If you can pull it out, just cut the amount off that you need to get it to the correct height and bottom it out to the rock. With all of the other rods in the tunnel, this will not jeopardize anything. That’s what I did.

    Wrap the post with a chain and use a high lift jack or better still a T post puller (be careful not to crush the pole)then cut the pole shorter on the end that’s not necked down OR use a pointed ram rod in your post driver to try and bust the rock

  • @PurePeace20
    @PurePeace207 ай бұрын

    A T-post puller runs about $40 and uses leverage to pull posts out easily. Only hiccup with that type of post might be the lack of notches for the puller to grab onto but you could drill a bolt through it so the puller has something to grab onto. Well worth it to get a puller if you don't have one.

    I would take that post that is hitting the rock out and cut off what you need to to make it lineup with the string line once you it in. You have plenty support with all the other post. That’s just my thinking.
