TODAY! I'm watching this video because I AM that person: "something something camera and it goes into a computer somehow" and, I _can_ talk in that voice! THANK YOU for this tutorial... I binged a bunch recently in preparation for this new adventure to rebuild my life. And today, you'll ferry me through this first run of a bunch of videos that I produced on my first travel vlog trip last week for my friends, who'll never visit me, because I'm "too far" away. Fingers crossed I have any talent at all...

Excellent basic wrap of editing. Really good breakdown to the basic wording, concepts, organisation, even little storytelling, video/audio combination... its fast, people might have to replay a couple of times - but thats because its packed with information. Good one, compliments!😃

This is perfect! I had found another tutorial and he went so fast and wasn't explaining what each item was and I tried so hard to follow but I was lost! With this, I just spent 1.5 hours following along and editing my very first video! While it's not professional, it looks a lot better than anything I would have uploaded by myself! This is a great video to get people going with editing in DR. I like to tinker with things and had sort of worked out a lot of these features for myself when editing some recent footage. When I say 'worked out' I mean I was jabbing at buttons, doing basic cuts, edits, fades, etc. and getting some sort of result, I now know why and what I am doing and a whole host of shortcuts. I'll take a look at some of the other videos as I need more advanced features.
