Man, I must say thank you! This Strasbourg project of yours rekindled my interest in the Late Roman era after years and inspired me to start collecting an army for this period. (But don't tell this to my 12th-century Byzantines, mostly still in the box...)

@@TriariusWarGaming Thank you! Actually, I've been planning this project for a time now. (As a historian, I research the Dominate-era of Roman history, so it's close to my heart.) One of the reasons I procrastinated was the lack of kitbashable plastic miniatures, but, thanks to Victrix, now we have a whole range of very nice looking and pretty authentic plastic figures...😄 Of course, I plan to supplement them with metal minis. I just bought a couple of sets from Footsore and Westwind, and both are great.

Reading historical books is definitely fundamental! Very interesting period I didn’t know a lot about, I need to take a look at these Warhammer Historical books

They are really great, there is Vlad the impaler one you might find interesting. There are pdfs floating around online as well.

@@TriariusWarGaming Yes, I came across the Vlad the Impaler one after watching your video and looking the books up. I think I’ll try getting a copy.

Warhammer ancient battles books are great resources. Is there anything out there like them currently being produced?

Sorry for late response, just saw your comment. Unfortunately I don't think there is anything that really fits that niche currently. There are some decent reference books out there, but most seems aimed at a general audience rather than wargaming specific, which is a real shame
