Thanks for enjoying the video! Well, the new units are in the game now and, thus, available in the editor as well. I guess there'll be some new missions in there with them included in the future.

So, great playthrough but I found the DLC to be lacking a little. It all but forced you to use the new units and completely disregarded the mech units and the Battle Tier 5 units which, in my opinion anyway, were the coolest units in the game. There also wasn’t enough missions where you have to hunker down and defend, laying down all types of machine guns etc. Something is better than nothing though. I just hope they keep making DLC. If not, do you think you’ll be able to play more fan made missions/campaigns? I’m really enjoying watching this game.

Voice work for Zhao seems kinda flat doesn't it? Did I miss something in between this and the main game? One of the guys mentions meeting these mercs before. Was that in one of the movies or something?

I don't know about Zhao, I miss Hawthorne though! If you only watched my playthroughs, you probably missed three missions which introduced a new chemical warfare unit. I never covered those on here. This unit was used as "Pheromone Carrier" in the DLC. Zhao encounters the mercs for the first time in the first mission, when you collect your units at the very start. Later, he sees the merc boss leading some bugs through the station as well. Maybe you missed those encounters.

@@MichaelJGetsTheJobDone Ohhhh. When he says "leading the bugs" he means in the very first mission of this DLC. I thought he meant a previous section of the game. I blame the VAs delivery on that.

If we get a sequel to this game or new dlc having different story campaigns for the federation and the mercenaries would be awesome if they aren't gonna make a mode where you play as the arachnids

There's at least one mission in the community content in which you play as the bugs. Although, I haven't played it yet myself so I don't know if it's fun. Edit: Oops, wrong comment!

Wish the dlc had some actual missions about controlling the arachnids instead of them being more of an escort mechanic for small segments

If we get further DLC for this game I'm hoping they take more cool aspects from the old cgi TV show and the more decent movies

I think the devs are already working on their next game which is similar to this but set in the Terminator world.

I find it fitting for the setting. Most people seem to believe in the Federation's propaganda and place them on a pedestal. For someone to change their loyalties on the words of someone they were at odds with is highly unlikely.
