A sound guy can make or break a show . Even with top tier acts . And when you are playing and hearing only a monitor feed , you have no idea what's out front ! I can see why many groups travel with their own guy or gal and stack the deck in their favor .

Tonight they're two hours away. Why am I even debating going or not

I just saw a video of Starship with the new chick that they replaced Stephanie with, and she's pretty and all, but she doesn't have the stage presence that Stephanie has, the cute nuances that Stephanie does that reminds one of Grace Slick. Young and pretty doesn't quite cut it.
