"Euroy goodness". love that term :)
I love the superpower question so much :) every answer is wildly different and so fascinating
Thanks for the interview! I'm super excited for this game!
Great video! Listening to the designer has me very excited to try it as much of what he said about the types of games he likes and wanted to make resonated with me. His superpower really made me smile as that is very important to me too!
Great interview, Eleni! I remember you asking that same question [about superpowers] in that multi-designer interview you did a while ago. It's fun comparing the different answers of the various designers.
Great Interview, can't wait to play this game!
Things that the game needs: * Leaders. Make it personal. RPG it. * Have a feeling of a 5 year space exploration. * Space battles. Not just exchange pirates for something. * High stakes. Climax. Expansion?
The final frontier. Go boldly where no man has gone before! I tell you. There are no Xenomorphs in distant space;) Great interview with the the most relevant question that can and should be asked.
Is there going to be a german version?

And what about the pirates?
I also terribly dislike horror in games, especially scifi. You have a point there. Normally horror in scifi uses the cheap formula of "monster inside a box" where the ship is a box and people and a monster are being put there. I say cheap because a ship in the ocean or even a building could be used as a box. Why using a space ship that visits exotic places in space? To me it is a strange obsession of some people to turn inspiring things into ugly ones. It is good to see someone rebels against that mainstream uglyism.
