I hate to be that guy, but you heard of celldweller? Wish upon a blackstar did this before starset. It's one of the thing Klayton (the man behind the music) likes doing. @@jorgi2220 I think that's the point of this whole album. Transmissions sounds like it has a drive, a mission, to save the future. Vessels sounds more like confusion and chaos, like they did receive the transmissions but they don't even know what it means. Divisions is like the result of what happened to vessels, and what transmissions is warning about. That message in where the skies end "There's no contraband thoughts" and such kinda shows that people there are like robots.

Officer Zacstract when he dies I can keep him going till a defibrillator arrives or till he’s transported to a hospital and treated to by specialists, you’re right though, survival chance from a major heart attack is usually 1 in 10 and CPR only keeps the brain alive by pumping blood and oxygen around the body (only at 25% of what the body usually does it at but enough to keep his brain and organs from dying) the defibrillator is what will (hopefully) shock his heart back into working order and bring him back to life! It was a joke tho so....

Unlike most of the music videos by Starset, this one doesn't seem to tell much of a story. There's obviously a story involved, but all we see are the same few moments and memories played over and over again it seems like. She's clearly in contemplation, remembering things even as she explores the virtual world in some way, but we don't really see much progression of thought that we can understand. That is, right up until the very end, when she walks away from the window... with the lights of her neural implant turned off. An entire music video dedicated to a single, lengthy decision, which we don't even fully understand what that decision is or why it is being made. Moreso even than with the other Starset videos. There's a kind of simple beauty to that, separate from that held by the song itself.

Okay, can someone please admire that woman? She's playing perfectly! Her emotions take my breath away every time I see the video. GORGEOUS!

I remember when this album came out. I literally could not bring myself to listen to any other bands. I was so lost in the message. I remember reading prox transmissions as I played their discography on repeat, connecting to the truth and everything divine within myself. This world may be headed in a dark direction, and there is a lot outlined in t music and narrative that suggests dystopia, but I feel hopeful listening to these songs

i always felt like transmission's the future is now, vessel's everglow and division's stratosphere all have the same vibe, especially towards the end

I see it as her sitting there, in a perfect place, with everything she could want at her fingertips, but she is reflecting on, or being shown the thing that matters most to her, being taken away and it all falling to pieces around her. Absolutely chilling sound and visuals. Cant wait to see you guys on the 14th! Dreams do come true!💜⭐☔💠

It would be cool to make a sci-fi movie with this narrative and the soundtrack would be the songs of Starset. Take notes, Hollywood

Officially one of my top ten favorite Starset songs! Honestly, I don't think anything can beat Ricochet or Halo, but this is really close.

I think that all the white in this video (the clothes, the furniture, the facility, and the flowers) are meant to represent innocence. I can only hope this is a reference to Heart of Darkness.

@@drkstrnd While I will agree that starset is in a different category than say Pantara or DED or the Devil Wears Prada that doesn't mean they aren't a "heavy" band. To me "heavy" all depends on context. Can I appreciate the "heavy" sections in a starset song..yes. Is it even comparable to artists in other genres "heavy"... no. Thats like comparing apples and oranges. Personally, I'm not going to stop eating fruit because they taste different. I like variety.

I find this song very relatable: I've always loved the sky and astronomy, and I'd like to have a job linked to that. I also feel so distant from my dimension of living (school, people near me...) that I feel like I can be truly happy only when I will be able to fullfill my wish of being an astronomer or explore the sky. "It burned my soul to see a thing with such beauty.": you may find it stupid but when I was younger I actually cried talking about space and sky, and still I gey very emotional when speaking about that. "Stratosphere, floating in your stare, take me far from here.": it reflects my wish of seeing space with my eyes, and my feeling of "needing to find the right place, which is not here but probably somewhere up above". Thank you if you're still reading this, I just wanted to share my personal interpretation of this song. I find it beautiful how everyone sees a different meaning in the same lyrics, and I really want to thank Dustin for writing songs like this.

This is going to kill live. Out of an extremely strong field of work, this might be Dustin's best chorus yet. The heavy undertone of the guitar and the harmony of the vocals intertwine perfectly, plus the keys at the end take it to a whole new level. And Adam killing it on the kit as usual.

I love the way the chorus is powerful and driving, meanwhile Dustin’s voice is kinda calm and resigned. As if the world is overturning and Dustin is just watching it feeling inevitability

This video clip looks a concept where humanity is imprisoned by virtual reality (brain implant), and 'STRATOSPHERE' means the layer between reality and virtual reality. Certain moments, there are shocks between theses realities (sometimes she is realize and try to wake up for the real world). It looks 'Black Mirror' concept. Awesome song!

STARSET gets me high 😅❤️

It's amazing, I was lucky enough to discover Starset right as they came out and they continue to be one of my very top bands. They never disappoint, they never make a song I dont like. I almost want them to make a bad song at this point just so I know they are human. It would definitely fit with their narrative if they were not :P

Dustin drinks Smart Water, because of the blend of the minerals and electrolytes. But that aside he drinks water so he is human, I think.

This reminds me of that one scifi movie, where a cruiseship in outerspace got redirected from their original destination. They had a device in the ship that made them relive Earth and so they made memories inside that device.

I only want say one thing and one thing only and that's every song iv heard from starset has helped me see the true joy and happiness in life in itself and has done nothing but touched my heart and soul and have become legends in my Universe

so, if MANIFEST was about androids trying to break their program, WHERE THE SKIES ENDS and DIVING BELLS being about the Mental and emotional struggle, then most likely I would assume STRATOSPHERE is about the physical struggle of trying to be free.

I think Divng Bell and Stratopshere both show the Brain Machine Interface technology and how it's causing people to live an alternate reality that they. are consumed by because to them it's better than living in the real one. I think In Stratosphere the woman is reliving some kind of accident because it shows a man, i think her daughter, and some flowers in the car and glass going everywhere with their bodies hitting the ground. So i think she's choosing to relive her trauma with the BMI technology rather than move on in life etc etc, and its causing her to become enslaved and disconnected. Diving Bell I think is more or less the same message. I think it shows that people just spend their days (when not working for new west) jumping out of reality with their bmi. I think in Diving Bell it goes full circle because the guy in the video starts realizing how isolated and lost he is due to his addiction to the bmi tech. And I think at the end of the Album , the narrative has reached a point where people are going to start fighting back against the tech.

@@Stonecoldcaller I do agree with your point but it's not them using the BMI I think it's the government or something cuz New West industries is basically the villain in all of this storyand I think it's New West that are controlling the people that have the BMI installed into their brains but now when she's in the state she's seeing her past and everything that happened before she had the BMIbut if you seen the music video manifest you can see shortly into the video that all the kids are forced to have the bmi's installed into their heads and ones who do not listen gets shot with some electrical thing by patrol officers or tracked down with patrol drones

Down with the fallen is one of my favourites, I totally get what you mean.

Great song, I don't know if I'm on Earth or I'm flying through the space when I hear this song, the chorus is huge, anyway I'll love it😉

Not trying to be a pessimist or anything... but i can't stop thinking of how much more Starset could have blown up if this new stuff was released around the time when 'Detroit- Become Human' entered the video game scene. I really hope that some gaming company/ movie house who wants to use the concept of AI will use Starset's songs as soundtracks. This is really some golden stuff.

I heave lissend to a lot of groops and songs but starsets music was the only ones that made me fall into my own world thats why i love them

My parents dont like Starset, it upsets me because they are my favorite band! But these new songs are epic! I cant wait for the whole album!

Sadly these new songs aren't going to change their minds.

Listening this guys since 2013. I will never regret about my Idea of subscribe and shared Starset songs. I waited 5 years for the new album in 2018, and I'm not desapointed at all.

I'm seriously in love with these guys! They are SO GOOD. This was a very pleasant surprise!! Dustin's voice has gotten so much better!
