There's a lot of bands that do them in this genre and similar ones; they just don't tend to be this long. Project Vela comes to mind as one badn that does a lot of gap songs, and Linkin Park's Thousand Suns album has several as well.

You know Starset has an impact on you when you turn up the volume twice as high XD

Honestly, yeah! For me, it's because Dustin sounds possessed in some parts of the song and then emotionally, mentally, and physically drained in others. The result? A story about a girl who has a monster inside of her that she's losing control over. She's struggling to snap out of it to tell her best friend to leave her before she does something. It's fun because each line of the song can fit with each character: the monster inside of the girl, the girl herself, and the best friend.

NERO THE HERO yeah, they're pretty flimsy when it comes down to a fight of epic proportions like that

The guitars are BB styled but Starset takes so many steps further with excellent use of synths and strings sections (a.k.a their cinematic rock soundtrack)- really BB is awesome but Starset is an experience of some deeper journey.

If something that I wrote got made into a movie, I want them to do the soundtrack. I'm writing a series almost entirely to them. Starset is the perfect band for me to listen to.

When I discovered this badass band quite some time ago, I was amazed! Glad to see that there's still nothing bringing it down, this incredible band!

This is meant as a compliment to the lead singer of Starset, I hate to compare one artist to another because every human being regardless of whether they are an artist or not is incomparable, but the vocals in this song reminds me quite a bit of Deftones in the best way. Starset is one of my very cherished new favorite bands. < 3

The bassline in this is beyond incredible, matched only by the violin interludes and Dustin's raw vocals.

Risu Starset is still a relatively new band. They were way more underrated when Transmissions first came out--they are growing as a band. I think it's only a matter of time before they really blow up :)

Nathan Reed skillet have become tripe recently and tbh once you step away from them like I did and try and go back and listen to them you realise the songs are kinda clichéd and or tedious

I love that the chorus doesn't do the obvious thing at the end, which would be to end with "bringing it down, ooooon uuuuuuus!"
