The eye-catching chestnut stallion Emerald began his international career in the 2011 7 Year Old Final in Lanaken where he and "Flying Dutchman" Harrie Smolders finished 14th. Emerald finished 4th in his first Grand Prix six months later and hasn’t looked back since.
