While I don't experience it the same way, as I'm a native English speaker, the melodies are one of the main reasons I listen to Marina. Even if a song is lyrically not one of her most poetic, I can still listen to it over and over again when the melody is so magical.

YEP. Esp since it's followed by "Cos really, I adore you, and I can't leave you alone"........................ yeah.

I feel like this is the song for that tiny fable made by I forgot who, but it was with a fox and he wanted berries from a too high branch and he kept trying to get it but he couldn't, so he said "Even a fool would see those grapes are sour". The message the writer was trying to say was "Its easy to despise something that you cannot have". That's the vibe I got from this song. Sorry for being such a nerd, I just read a book all about the creator's poems and that story was one of 'em. Edit: I just got the blessing to make the like count from 9.9k to 10k. I'm so happy right now and I don't know why.
