@@lahaza6515 She did not live under Islam. She lived under Somali culture practiced by her parents grandparents and the society around her. Many of these practices are against Islamic teaching but for an outside observer , because practitioners are Muslims, these practices appear part of Islam. A searcher of Islam should search it in the scripture ie Quran, not in Muslim behavior which, a lot of time, may not be Islamic at all. As to her living out of Islam, she was never fully in. From the outset she was an opportunist whose aim in life was “to follow American dream” according to her own admission. And in the post-9/11 world there was nothing as shortcut as “exposing” Islam as an insider to gain the attention and sympathy of people of right wing and so called neoconservative political thought. They also needed an articulate figure with a narrative that could help them carry out their geo strategic designs in the Middle East and beyond. So, in a way, her Islam bashing is essential for her to achieve this stardom she is currently enjoying in the West in general and in the US in particular.

I feel very bad for Aayan having to deal with Islamic pushback to seek an imagined mythos of a supreme overlord when she just spoke about the importance of escaping just that very same type of indoctrinated slavery. 😢 😡

Ayaan wants to stir the hard conversation between Muslims, as in what's wrong with Islam! People always get offended, like mostly Muslims did in the room, when someone speaks against something they love whether it be relegion or anything else. It is something similar with comedy these days. A comedian can make all kinds of jokes in his set but when a joke cracks up about something people hold dear to, they get offended. For eg: No one gets offended to holocaust jokes now! Because one who personally experienced it, is not listening to the jokes. But if you joke about gender or any sensitive topic people loose their minds!

Many love Ayaan because she can speak well and projects the "idea" (to those similar to herself who are against a certain religion/race) that she is an expert on that subject matter. It is obvious that she has made a career out of agressively criticizing a religion/people from many many countries that she has never been to, with much bias and has painted 2 billion people from this faith, regardless of nationality or race, with the same "brush across the board" - and sadly has acquired fame and fortune out of it too. A bit odd, I dare think! That if she is happy to have left it, then why not just move on and live your life? But then the money and fame would not have rolled in that easily! The information that she releases regarding this subject matter is mostly distorted and based on many half- truths as well. However, she has acquired the "art" of being able to speak well and captures a blind following of many, who choose to ignore her shady past and rise to fame and fortune, at the expense of many innocents, especially refugees of war torn countries who are desperately seeking asylum! We've reached the times- where people are in awe of someone who is teaching hate and prejudice at the expense of humanity!

It is surprising that within the walls of one of the top ranking technology and science research universities, people may spend so much time and energy debating passionately about religious matters. Religion is neither science nor philosophy as philosophy historically (originally) encompasses all bodies of knowledge. In the twentieth century philosophers generally no longer raise questions about God. Religion, provided the scriptures (any scripture) are taken at face value, conveys fundamental scientific and historic inaccuracies. I understand that to some people religion is a ''cultural thing'', and there is nothing wrong with that. If religion is only valid as a ''cultural element'' into which some people find comfort, why spend time and energy debating the veracity of Scriptures claiming being God's revelation. Why not study religions, within such an academic environment, as a field of comparative, objective secular investigation. In doing so, why limit ourselves to the Abrahamic religions. Several people in this debate proudly claimed being Americans. Why not study, also, the numerous Native American religions and myths.

Welcome to the “The Goblet of the Truth”! To the majority of humanity on planet Earth it is hardly known, that the true prophets who walked the Earth, originated solely from the Nokodemion lineage. It was this seven-fold lineage of true prophets who brought forth the “Teaching of the prophets”, that is to say, the teaching of the Truth, the teaching of the Spirit and the teaching of Life. In the early days, this unique teaching was also known as the “Goblet of the Truth”. Unfortunately, the human beings of Earth misunderstood the teaching, endlessly falsified it and misused it for religious purposes. It was first thanks to the seventh prophet of the Nokodemion lineage, “Billy” Eduard Albert Meier, that we now here on Earth finally have a clean true version of these unique teachings. The Goblet of truth is without any doubt “Billy” Eduard Albert Meier’s greatest work and outstanding effort on bringing Earth mankind the NON-corrupted, NON-manipulated, NON-religious teaching of truth, teaching of spirit and teaching of life. The book contains the teachings of all the seven prophets, namely: 1.Henoch (Enoch) (3 February 9308 BCE to 1 January 8942 BCE). 2. Elia (Elijah) (5 February 891 BCE to 4 June 780 BCE). 3. Jesaja (Isaiah) (7 February 772 BCE to 5 May 690 BCE). 4. Jeremia (Jeremiah) (9 February 662 BCE to 3 September 580 BCE). 5. Jmmanuel (Immanuel) (3 February 02 BCE to 9 May 111 CE). 6. Mohammed (19 February 571 CE to 8 June 632 CE). 7. “Billy” Eduard Albert Meier, BEAM (February 3, 1937) As from an inexhaustible wellspring, vast knowledge emanates from the Goblet of the Truth, from which great wisdom comes forth, from which, in turn, love, peace, freedom and harmony result, as well as an integration of a beneficial balance, joyfulness and happiness. We human beings should understand the necessity of leaving the false teachings of all religions behind us and turn to the correct way of thinking and living, which involves taking responsibility for one’s own thoughts and actions, because everything is built on the law of cause and effect, interaction, interdependence, etc. In time, more and more people will turn to the truth, and this book will be one of the main factors for the spreading of this very truth.

47:20 .. Ms Nicole Musaalam's Question is not only Long Winded BUT Makes ZERO Sense Given that She is STILL a Muslim Woman who Grew up in a Dysfuctional Muslim Household fuelled by Alcohol and Drug ( all Considered " Haraam " ) . Not Sure WHAT EXACTLY the Fine Lady is trying to articulate to a FINE Lady Like Ayaan Who OVERCAME a Helluva a LOT of NONSENSE to be WHO She is @ this Forum
