This is the best commentary I've heard all year out of everything that I watch. I will mute or stop watching so many different competitive games and sports just because the commentary bugs me so much, but this is one of the only times I can truly say the commentary kept me hooked. I retired those two ish years ago, but even if I hadn't I wouldn't do it on somebody else's channel, especially when they're monetized. I will act like an idiot on my own channel for the entertainment of my audience, but I don't want to mess with what somebody else has going on. :)

I think alot of players coming from newer gens would think ADV is just ttar TSS big 5 when its much much more crazier than that

I can appreciate how it might be taken as negative without context, so allow me to provide some. I have years-long and in some cases decade plus long relationships with almost all of these players and am friends with most of them. The ones I make fun of the most are the ones I am closest with who I know understand me and aren't offended by it. Jabba for example is my closest Pokemon friend of all, and likewise Triangles who I made fun of in a previous narration I've known for over a decade and have had nothing but a positive and mutually respectful relationship with the entire time. On the flipside, players like Kristyl in this, who I am familiar with as a player but only know a little bit as a person and who is probably closer to an acquaintance than a friend, you'll notice I laid off of and didn't tease, just to be safe and make sure I'm not going at someone who may take it the wrong way. Also, if unaware, I hosted this tournament seven years in a row prior to this, so again I have longstanding relationships with a lot of these people and we have a dynamic between us that may not be fully understood from the outside looking in. I hope this clears things up. Ultimately, don't take anything I say seriously and just enjoy the show. It's all about entertainment and nothing more. :)

Callous is a great commentator but the whole reason that I watch Jimothy Cool content and thus the revival tournaments is that I hate the pointlessly and casually negative and unpleasant attitude that most smogon players and he really brings that to the table. I haven't been able to finish watching a single one of his commentated sets because he spends way too long promoting himself and being petty about the players.
