Starlink High Speed Internet Powered by the Sun

In order to work a tech job from the side of a mountain I had to make some improvements to my Adirondack tent home. In this video I”ll show you my battery and solar system setup, construct a solar array from local materials and cover my Starlink setup that allows me to work remotely, off-grid.
Eco flow Delta 2 Max : us.ecoflow.com...
Starlink Gen 3 system: Starlink.com
Satamount Gen 3 pole mount system: satmount.com/b...
(Recently Starlink announced a re-designed pole mount system that is more robust - I can vouch for the satamount connector - do your own research here)

I considered Starlink at my offgrid cabin, but when I checked (Gen 1) it consumed something like 60-90w, 24 hours a day. You mention 110w so I guess it's gotten worse. 2400 watt hours a day is INSANE, but I guess if it's the only option. Thankfully one of our service providers came along with rural wireless internet and I get a nice stable connection and the power consumption doesn't even register on my system.

That’s great - the cost to use the local cable company was pretty pricey, plus they do not offer a month by month service so I would have to foot the bill all year, even though I am only using it for a few months.

I got a 13 foot Regatta. ell tent from a company called white duck outdoors - whiteduckoutdoors.com/products/bell-tent-13?variant=19988789330020. If I were to do it over I would get one with better ventilation as this one gets pretty hot in the sun. I also got the 10’ awning to match. I go into more detail in my ‘Life in a tent’ video. Thanks for watching !
