I really love this moment in the story. It makes me wonder what was going on, some say that its just sweet friends, some say the red caboose actually loved her, and some say that he just felt sorry for her and liked her for her looks and wanted to use her. I'm not saying that any of them are true in my opinion or not. But its so magical to me how we only are left to our imagination on what happened because its never talked about in the story ever again. Also might I add that it gives a sense of time and yet its timeless. Like its origin and its style give a sense of a time that I love, but its themes and morals can be applied in virtually any time period. My favorite part is when he puts his hand under Dinah's chin as to say ' I know I can lean upon your bar , but if you need you can always lean on me and I will always listen to you'

C.B. is such a good friend!! lots of people say he may be in love with Dinah... I guess that might be true, which is so sad because they couldn't ever be coupled, since neither is an engine, right? :( either way I love them as a friendship, so sweet.

I like to headcannon this is why Caboose turns on Greaseball in the final race.

Ahja? Ist von der Musik ein sehr schönes Stück. Aber inhaltlich konterkariert es ja völlig C.B.s Charakter. Die Leute scheinen immer zu vergessen, dass er der Bösewicht der Handlung ist. Immerhin bringt er muitwilig seit langer Zeit Züge zum entgleisen und Unfälle bauen!

@@alexanderkegel593 löl Jetzt nicht dein Ernst? Das ist doch grade CBs Charakter: die Zweigesichtigkeit. Er gibt allen den Eindruck, dass er auf ihrer Seite ist und hintergeht sie dann. Der ist das Gegenteil vom klassischen Bösewicht.

Schade dass ich nicht da war als die Szene noch drin war. Aber die erneuerte Version gefiel mir mega gut!
