"you'd see I'm not - your tumbler" is one of my personal favorites

It's interesting to me that the main character is pretty clear cut for pretty much all of these and then you get to Black Friday which is way more of an ensemble piece than any of the others.

I always figured Tom was the main character, that may just be because he's in more songs but I can see a good case for lex

I say they are both the leads. Tom's character arcs and emotions are at the heart of the show, and Lex's actions drive the plot, she fits into the role of the hero. Obviously that's an oversimplification, Tom's actions drive the plot, and Lex's emotions cut deeply, and honestly portray the themes more than anyone, and it's an ensemble show where the president could arguably also be a sort of main character (I say he's not because he isn't developed across the whole show,) but I still think it's generally like that. Lex is clear-minded and fully a good character, while Tom is a deeply sympathetic antihero who grows to be better over the course of the show, with Lex's help.

When you're at your grandparents house, looking through the food room, and you find an unopened jar of jam that is at least 50 years old. 12:12

The one dislike is Paul because he doesn’t like musicals

The quarantine is the reason I’m now a StarKid fan. I stumbled and an animation for Hermione can’t draw and needed to know what it was from. Prior to that the only thing StarKid I saw before was Joe Moses as Snape (at the time I didn’t know what it was). Not long afterwards I watched every StarKid musical except MAMD. But now I have the playlist on Spotify and I constantly watch videos on it and I’m surprised how fast I’ve learned so many songs. But it’s remarkable how small the fan base is, it is also very strange entering a fandom that is so old AVPM is 11 years old.

@@abbywhitson1147 I second this. I avoided MAMD for like... Eight-ish years. Once I actually sat down to watch it I was pleasantly surprised that, silliness aside, it's actually a really sweet story.

If you consider Tom to be the protagonist of Black Friday, he's missing in 9/17 songs (53%) and the show switches places with MAMD on the list.

According to Nick they are both leads, but since the beginning I've used Jack Bauer as the lead. Using two leads would cause many problems, so I've just stuck with using Jack Bauer
