I have 4 sw15s that I bought from Stark for $499 a sub! They are excellent subs!!!

Just saw Deadpool Wolverine movie last night at AMC 30 in the Block of Orange, California. Dolby Cinema screen and sound. The seats shake, first i thought it was the Bass from Subwoofers which was Amazing- First time in my life hearing such powerful bass. Then just now I saw video clips and they set the seats to shake with the bass scenes. Apparently I heard Ceiling speakers and used. Told my friend during the movie probably behind the screen or bottom of it they using Six 18" subs or Ten 15's but i think its just Ceiling subs.

I really like my OSD Trevoce 12's paying $285 (would be picky if paying $900) But i really Considered exchanging it or returning it for the OSD FS12. I decided to keep my Trevoce 12's. I never heard the SVS SB2000 but i saw the woofer and magnet is much better than the SB1000 and probably most subs. Stereo Integrity 18" or 24" is on my Dream List but need Solid theater room tearing out the drywalls putting insulation, solid wood door, etc. You guys lucky living in the Midwest or East Coast if you have a Basement.

$1,000 for 2 Subwoofers not bad deal. $700 for OSD Trevoce 15's and $300 for OSD FS12 although price up now to $360. The FS12 saying CEDIA Level 4 Home Theater Reference Level which is 18 HZ and 118 Decibels. Many people saying that's very hard to Believe. OSD says the 600 Watts RMS on the FS12 does it.

Sale ends Sunday night for the Starke SW15 at $549 and there's a 5% Promo Code too. I'm really happy with my $299 OSD Trevoce triple 12s I got the LFE at 80 HZ on my Onkyo and finally getting Deep hard hitting bass. It's a slower sub like warming up a truck Diesel Engine but once the Beast wakes up it Roars. Had to put Onkyo volume from 29 down to 7-9 which is barely on, 0 being no volume at all. I'm going to switch back to the Dual RCA filtered for Sub Crossover and put it at 40-50 HZ on the turn knob. But i really need to use DSP adjustment for 20 HZ.

Actually the OSD Trevoce 12's only starting sounding good in movies, low frequency deep bass, when i removed the LFE cable, put Onkyo crossover to 50 HZ, LFE to Off, used the Dual RCA (red and white cable). I think it's the Onkyo crossover plus the 50 HZ max keeping the frequency curves in check. Just a temporary method until i use DSP on iWoofer.

I will go to MWAVE next year if that's the biggest home theater show now. I think Chicago had one too. I heard CES in Las Vegas not much home theater maybe just big TV's. Probably buying the Hisene 4K TV as it's super cheap and HDR 10+. My 49" Atyme 4K is not HDR paid $200 about 5 years ago i think at Fry's Electronics. Now a 50" Hisene 4K QLED is $250. Prefer the 55".

Nice to get some real world opinions on this sub. I have been looking at their subs for a while ..... AND ... they do have a Buy One Get One sales.. soooo it ends up being 2!!! subs for that price .. so THAT is crazy.

Yes that's INSANE value

Almost bought it when was on Sale for $425 few weeks ago and right after the Starke 15" went from $499 to $549 and Sold Out was Pre-order for June...

I noticed most microphones have XLR but they made for rock bands or other music. I'm looking for a Camera or Movie camera and attach Microphone to record my Home Theater.

Right now it's $425 on their website but i was disappointed that the $499 SW15 just Sold Out this morning. $75 more for a 15" sub

Amazon Prime day got a few 4K Blu-ray movies for $11-12 each. About 40-60% off. Edge of Tomorrow and Godzilla should be good. Also King Kong in 4K

Added Kong Skull Island as Audioholics vlog said it has Deep Bass. And never saw Dune 2 the 4K Blu-ray is $22.99 but paid $12 as I had the Points on the Prime Visa card

Really Good Bass movies also Lord of the Rings remastered Blu-ray. Dolby Atmos hits very Deep Lows. Fellowship of the Ring, Two Towers and The Return of the King.

This is a great review. The size is perfect. I’d love to hear what this sounds like. Watching Tron Legacy or Tenet.

Sale now $499 for the 15" SW15 Sealed box. Really tempted to buy it but trying to avoid spending any more money on the Home Theater for now & I like the OSD Trevoce 12's after many times Tuning it and moving it around all the angles, hitting the walls, etc. Within 2-3 years my Dream Subwoofer is the Stereo Integrity HST-18 and hopefully they make & sell a box by then. If I get Acres of Land or build underground room I will get the 24".

@@Kpaceguy it's a very nice subwoofer and definitely the 15" with 1,000 Watts RMS should be Awesome. If you want 20 HZ and under probably need DSP adjustment using iWoofer or the external units. It's been performing awesome most movies. Few times it really surprises me too, going way beyond. But I found it sounding best with Gain at 40-45%.

@@Kpaceguy the FS12, ported, also available now 15", they have a DSP metal switch On and Off in the back of the Subwoofer. This is for the Low Frequency. When turned off it's SPL mode.

@@Kpaceguy are you going to buy it or ask them to get 1 to review it? When it was $499 there was nothing to think about but I got the 12" for $299 more as thinking Neighbors might say something with the 1,000 watta 15" as well as Heavy box. Now it's $699 I would not buy it.

I believe when the older SVS SB 2000 is on special it is $499...they just had it on deal for Labor Day.

Hey, i just grabbed a sw15. In Canada, we dont have hsu, speedwoofers are on backorder indefinitely, and SVS is considerably more expensive. sb1k is 1000$, 2k is 1500$ and 3k is 2000$. The starke is 690$ cad. I would think two starke sw15s should outperform one SB2000, and still leave some money in my pocket. Cant wait for it to arrive :) do you think 1 sub will be good enough for a medium sized room?

The best sub deal I’ve seen in five years, on new subs at least, is Buy one get one free on Starke Sound SW 15” subs for $999. That’s $500 each, free shipping, for two VERY capable subwoofers.

For that price, two sub set up would nice.

It's clearly more expensive but how would the Stark compare to the SVS SB3000? The 3000 is a beast of of sealed sub.

So which subwoofer would you recommend, even though the bic 300 is a ported sub and this 1 is a sealed, would you recommend this 1 over the bic 300? Im also thinking about getting the 15 inch Starke over the 12 inch, whats your thoughts.

If you're room is big you'll want a more powerful sub. I like the starke better but it's not as loud

@@shaolin95 The 1 I bought is sealed, but they do have a SW15 that is ported that just came out, the sealed subwoofers are currently on sale for $499 and the ported is on sale for $799.

I'm looking at the $560 Definitive Technology Descend DN10, 10" with 3XR or the 2 passive 1 active woofers. What do you think about it ? I heard many people saying the 8" gives good bass. And the 10" professional reviews saying beats the SVS SB 1000 Pro but the 12" SVS definitely hits 20 HZ or deeper.

The DN is better than the Starke. The DN 10 is better than the sb1000. The DN10 doesn't have much after 22hz

@@Kpaceguy thanks for the info yes it seems to be Underrated. People saying it's loud at 25 HZ, extra Decibels. Never considered it when was $800 but at $560 I will probably buy it Today at Best Buy store

@@Kpaceguy 22 HZ is amazing from the 10" Definitive Technology Descend DN 10. 25 HZ definitely happy. Even 30 hz is deep bass most movies. But if paying $980 for HSU 15 Subwoofer the new UL series, Sealed Subwoofer, I would want the 18-20 HZ

@@Kpaceguy my friend is a big subwoofer & home theater guy, he has HSU 15" MK series two of them, two REL 12's and just bought Martin Logan for music. He said he will sell my his older model Polk PSW 505. It's a hard hitting 12" rated 25 HZ 300 Watts RMS 500 Peak about 45 pounds box. Slotted port in the back, bottom. I think he paid $600 about 10 years ago and sell me $300. He gave the one he used for years to his neighbor(sold to) but he has another which is almost New or not used much.

Another good review. 👍 Looks like Starke makes some competitive products, although they may need to adjust their DSP a bit to provide a bit better protection to their driver. They probably weren't very aggressive with the limiters to get the most out of it. Have to give kudos to my sealed SVS SB16-Ultra. It's a very capable sealed sub, but a bit more expensive than this product. 😁

Hello my friend, what do you think between the Elac Sub1225 or 12" for $249 ? I don't know if to buy the Elac or the Klipsch R-120 SW. I prefer Cleaner Tighter bass, not worried about the Specs on Watts or HZ lows.

Thank you for sharing the damn truth. The SW12 and SW15 are the best audiophile subs with XLR input and outputs and white. It looks good. Look the baby Starke SUB24 and SUB35 on sale!!!! The red finish on these things look like speakers worth $$$$$. Desmond from Starke Sound is a mentor to so many audiophiles.
