Omgosh, I grew up in Lacey and Olympia! 🥰 Donut peaches should be available in the supermarkets and farmers markets this time of year. They’re a bit spendy (as are all fruits in the store), but I looked forward to them each year. 🤣🤣🤣 I’m just more for peace n love, but even I get fed up and frustrated when it comes to working hard to grow something that I’m REALLY looking forward to, only to have something/someone else steal the fruits of my labor. It’s all good though. Just means the Lord got bigger harvests for me in the future! 💪🙏❤️

Those critters really did some damage to your peaches. They don’t even have enough respect to eat the whole thing they’re just taking chunks and nibbles and bites.😂 I am glad that you got to at least taste them. 🍑

Really heart breaking when that happens, but at least you got a taste. I think you would like the tropic snow peach, an early ripening peach tree that is sweet and has good flavor. It will produce in the first year also.

WA zone 8B gardener also. Planted a frost peach this May. It's putting on some good growth. Maybe I'll be fortunate enough to have a few peaches next year. Do you have a game camera to see what critter is enjoying your peaches?

@lyonheart84 Yep. Neglected to treat with copper fungicide in the fall, winter, and pre-spring, so I didn’t manage to prevent it as I did the previous years. I’m definitely NOT going to forget for next season! 🥰
