This is the least of Bethesda's troubles. They really lack in the writing department. I want to see the impact of my choices in the world, there is very little of that in Bethesda's games. I want to see the cause & effect scenarios working.

I'm convinced that starfield was made for Xbox One/PS4, took too long and they console locked it to newer gen. It just looks so much NOT next gen. The loading screen every damn 5 min + are overly annoying

Bethesdas games had this kind of expectable cosy old-school vibes a lot of people were looking for. They failed to understand that by trying to expand on modern expectations while dumbing down everything they were appreciated for. Now their games look like crap and play like a watered down version of what people actually want.

Cdpr writes great stories, have pretty good animation. The top dog in animation is God of war. Eyes are looking always where they should, body language is always flawless and never has any cut of fragmented motions to recycle. But therefore the content is far shorter than cyberpunk. I assume it boils down to the type of game. Cp is a huge open world with far more content than gow. It is smart to have less energy wasted on perfect motions.

I love Bethesda: they produced several games that i loved with all my heart, but speaking about Starfield they really messed things up on a lot of levels. One of the things that really pissed me the most in the game is the quality of writing: One exemple? Ryugin: should be the most evil corporation of the game and in the end It looks like the Disney version of Arasaka...

And personally, bethesda's stiff presentation used to be fine becuase they filled the games with so much other content, whether that was an open world so big and detailed that people still find new stuff everyday, or mechanical systems that were so granular and deep you could exploit them to hell and back to become unkillable. But now bethesda games just feel hollow and soulless. An infinite rat maze of loading screens and micro-transactions. Borderline skinner box game design fr

I say that with over 2,000+ hrs in Skyrim (and that's because modders can/will fix what they can't). Poor Shirley Curry, what a disappoint ... she and I will never see the game regardless.
