I avoided Outpost Building in Starfield until I dove in with this AWESOME Beginner Outpost Build!
I never really enjoyed Settlement Building in Fallout 4, so up to this point, I have not attempted it in Starfield. This build starts off as a beginner setup, requiring limited resources totalling less than 1,000 credits. But with some work and project research, you can easily upgrade it into a monster outpost. Thanks to this Starfield Outpost Build, I took the plunge, and have now earned a vast amount of knowledge on Outpost Building.
Thanks again for the awesome levels of support!

Huge props to giving credit to the OG finder of the method. Makes me like the channel even more. I already saw his guide, but I’m watching this video just to support the channel. Sometimes I also think it’s OK for different channels to post each other’s content on guides like this because it helps shout out all the creators in the community as long as you give credit. It helps with collaborations on finding new fast ways to do things , and to be honest not everyone to subscribe to both of you guys on the KZread platform so some of us may never found the other video.

Thank you for two things: (1) thank you for your honesty at the beginning - it is refreshing and, sadly, uncommon. (2) For this helpful get started guide. This was my first outpost attempt.
Not sure why, but the resources that spawn here may be in different orders. I've spent a couple hours searching for the exact spot across three NG+, but always can't get iron and aluminum with the rest (Platinum seems to replace one of them at the spot where the biomes converge). It still works, but may need a bit more setup with two outposts to get all the resources.

Very helpful! I’ve been failing miserably with outposts and going to try this!
I was like you and never wanted to do the whole outpost thing. Happen to see Vash's video and decided to give it a try. Best decision ever! Outside of finding the "sweet" spot(took forever lol), it is heaven. I can't believe how simple it was to do. You can level all the way up if you want, or like me..I do about 10 levels at a time. Then go run around the galaxy for a bit to break up the monotony. I went from level 27 to level 62 in no time at all, and that's with taking things slow. I have so many storage containers now that I really can't run out of material. Only suggestion is be mindful of where you put the extractors. It can limit space when you want to add more extractors or storage containers.
Will be trying this immediately!!! Thanks Lt!!! Love the title credits!!! Nicely done!!!
As always Buzz great vid! I'd love to see you do one on linking (local and inter) outpost links/delivery. This has been really buggy and confusing. Thanks bro!

You can use a container at the end of the storage chain that interfaces with your ship. You can remove any items on it directly from your ship cargo interface.
Guys... I can't find the spot. Tried everythig you guys suggested (including lower the DPI) but to no success. I can find similar spots but one of the elements (either Iron, Aluminum or Cobalt) is not present. Man... I've been a this for about 5 hours now. Lost the count of the times i reloaded and landed the ship. By the way... when you exit the ship, is there a specific firection you have to go? I've been circling around the spaceship getting to higher grond to try and spot that specific black mountain with the hills on the background...
for those struggling to find this, i was trying to line up the 3 black specs on the landing triangle but I was zoomed in one more level than on this video, i zoomed out one click and that helped me find the spot with the 3 locations right next to each other by one pixel. lined up the bluish white line top right diagonal and the black dot on the upper left triangle. and then found all 3 desert, mountain, hills in 3 adjacent pixels. landing location in this video - I see unknown (pi symbol) 404 m NE of my landing location and a second unknown is 783m almost due south from my landing spot very close to where this video starts and shows the black mountain. If you keep landing next to a facility and have a ship land near you, i believe you are too far NW.

Just wanted to say that I followed your instructions about finding that landing spot between three biomes and - on my VERY first try - I ended up about 250m from the exact(?!?!) black mountain in this video. All five resources right where you said they'd be. Thank you so much! 🎉
On the landing zone: some people's games will load Platinum instead of iron or aluminum, which is annoying as hell since that's the most important combo for this build. There are a couple other biome seams you can find on-planet. I wound up just placing two outposts (Al+Fe and Co+Ni) and just linked them. You only need the first two to get off the ground and xp-farm the adaptive frames.

Something I learned personally is to not use the left analog to scroll but instead the right analog and slowly move it around while tapping X (on ps5 controller). This allowed me to be more precise in finding the center point between all 3 biomes. This is especially true because if you land in that area repeatedly, the "landing site" icon will get in the way of you trying to pinpoint the exact spot on the planet. Long story short, I stumbled upon it eventually but took me 2 hours to figure all of this out. Hope it helps!

@@BrendinDP I'll hop on again this evening and see if I can find a POI for you or give you an idea of where it's at. It's worth it to find now that I established my base. I'll be damned if I don't get this found for you ;-)
Starting out doing outposts and planet exploring gives you a ton of XP. I just reach level 43 and quest wise I'm still at the beginning of the game. I just talked to Vladimir for the first time
? When you get raided they will do damage to your extractors and equipment right? Because I had damage to 2x extractors that I had to repair and I wasn’t sure how it happened??
Cool 😊 thanks, definitely try it out
@5:54 Whoa, wait just a minute. Power is transferred wirelessly? All the outpost vidoes I watched have not mentioned this. Does this only apply to solid extractors and wind turbines? Like does this work for water or gas extractors and solar panels?!
A very nice and informative video thanks a lot
Is their any generated buildings near by? I've spent a good 4 hours looking for this.
Love it when youtubers copy other youtubers exactly then get called out for it and have to acknowledge and credit OG content creator..more of this please
Has anyone else found this location also? I found a location with 4 solids but iron wasn’t one of them. I had to transfer iron from another location. I’m a failure at the crazy lazy XP farm. 😢

@@boerbenlp8659 Planets have limited proc things including NPC bases changing the lands and mineral placements. reload a save before landing and save at the planet before landing. if you can't find the spot still reload said save.
Thx for the info bro
So you don’t get XP for Fabricator manufacturing? Only if you use workbench and does it yourself ?
Still impossible to find, are there any building nearby to get orientation from?
Awesome tip! You are killing it! Thanks

Wow! Huge Super Chat and many thanks. 🙏
Anybody know how to help the solar radiation on this planet, is there an upgrade I need? Is it a random thing, or maybe not a big deal?
how did you get the storage containers to have multiple rows? Everytime I try they only snap to the left, right or top of the original one

better than me. I can't get anything outpost related to snap.
Definitely subbed bro

I actually saw the original video when it came out and now i do this little trick every time i do a ng+. If you're on the fence about trying it, DO IT!
I was doing this on pc and was getting higher xp amounts and it seems like if you spam click confirm it confirms that craft multiple times and gives you all the xp for it.
I just finished finding and building this base yesterday! Took me a long time to get the correct landing map. But I finally got it!

On thing missed in your video that I wish would have been covered is a better showing of the location of the original landing site and the location of the base relative to that. Neither Vash or your video showed that view. Although at least yours was in the daytime! 😂

Fancy showing a screenshot of your landing site? I'm struggling to find this 😂
I can't get through actually setting the outpost up without shit breaking. I have to run around and fix everything. Did I do something wrong?
Hey man so I spent a hour building up not to realize that even tho iron popped up on the beacon, I can’t place an extractor in the spitting found. Should I just scrap it?

Can't you just remove the beacon like any outpost item? (I confess I never heard that problem before)
Some points into scanner skill. It says ship scanners.lets u find these type of places way easier. With greater variance. And the exact spot as ull get to see the tiny dots. No guess work.

TOTALLY missed ship scanners ALSO thank you!
I found the original video by Vash Cowaii the day he released it and when I finally got off two weeks of travel, I set to work on doing exactly as he laid out. Now Bessel III-b is my home planet for all resource gathering and storage.

It's a HORRIBLE place to live though lol radiation poisoning during the day, and freezing, possibly corrosive, rain oh my :) Mantis armor blocks out most of it though.
after a few runs set up a habitat and move bed, bench etc, safe to farm without acid rain, put habitat next to landing pad and saves hassle
When I was at Bessel 2 , there was a couple of good spots there, but it's only 3 resources showing up at my level.
How did you get wind turbines? I can make them, I have research power generation 1 and still no luck

Like solar arrays, they should be on the outpost build menu as a base item.
I got so frustrated finding this. Found it once. With the black peak, went to reload as I could get all but one. Then never found the black peak again. Just have iron and aluminum. Good enough. Didn’t want to build outpost’s anyway.
