    The increase in vendor credits will completely improve my gaming experience, because I spend a lot of money on ships, and time wandering around the menu, sleeping on benches (which is pretty creepy at high level, or when you're accompanied), it's great. I'm going to put everything into extreme difficulties and in return increase these credits to the max. The afflictions setting will also allow me to complete survival skills for which I had become insensitive. For me it's really great.

    Yup having to wait on a bench to sell goods is silly. Its worth remembering that NG+ has its own difficulty modifier stacking up to the hard cap of 100% Enemy Damage Done and 50% Enemy Damage Reduction at NG+10. NG+10 + Extreme settings for Player Combat Damage and Enemy Combat Damage will turn those weak Spacers with Rescue Axes into Terrormorphs.😂😅

    When I saw how much you could carry with increased I lost my mind. I toggled most stuff to more difficult except carry weight, vendor money and ship cargo access. This menu was a great idea. It reminds me of some of the settings in games like Satisfactory or Battletech. I think if you take the food perks it might take the food into a more meaningful healing territory.

    With these changes the combat affliction system suddenly makes more sense to me given all the physical tree skills aimed at affliction recovery and mitigation. I'm actually looking forward to trying this out.

    wow this is looking great i cant wait for this update appreciate you sharing this info. You made a great point about a survival mode sounds possible to make it happen yourself through setting to a certain extent but i think it really opens up the possibility of an official survival mode being added in the future by the devs but i also wouldnt be surprised if modders took a shot at it

    Afflictions will cure over time if you do nothing and are not being exposed (for things like lung damage) I think what it's doing is the heal items will bring you to a certain point then you have heal over time.

    Just thinking of Hydration with Vastly Increased Carry Weight. Well nobody is going to need cargo holds anymore. 😉

    I feel like this is closer to how they had the game in the earlier stages before launch. As you say, the one thing that's missing is the fuel consumption. I think this is a great implementation. I just wish they made the effort to define terms a little better, especially around afflictions. Can't wait for this to launch on Xbox!

    Like you, I will be bumping the vendor credits. I currently have over 400 weapons in my hold because I can't sell off quick enough. I get bored and go back out to explore again.

    I upped the credits one notch, since I'm like level a billion , it doesn't matter anymore. I didn't want to go the full increase, I think it's kind of important if you're just starting the game to have to visit all the shops, because they all sell different stuff, and some have quests.

    I'm most interested in Extreme Combat Damage. Once you reach a certain point even Very Hard can feel a bit like baby seal clubbing. Which gets tiresome on some level. I'll probably leave the Ship Damage on Very Hard, however. I feel like Ship Combat on Very Hard is already hard enough.

    13:18 whenever you would gain afflictions either while you're exploring or during combat, the normal medical supplies like heal gel or heal paste.. will be ineffective the only way to cure your afflictions when that feature is turned on is to sleep on your ship or in a bed. So if you turned off healing well sleeping then yes you would have them until you make changes to your settings.

    You can also cure it at a doctor, and possibly by waiting.

    Carry Capacity with enough Rejuvenation Skill, you regen health as fast as you lose if by running overencumbered so this hasn't mattered to me for a while....

    Oh this is sweet. I'm gonna spend TONS of time tweaking my settings so I can cancel out reduced XP settings from carry weight with specific difficulty settings and healing items 🤣🤣🤣 This is awesome.

    Also, with the meds and afflictions, if nobody's said it yet, my two cents is that Bethesda is trying to make the player have to go to one of the Reliant Medical facilities to get full cures of maladies and afflictions.

    I’m assuming afflictions not curing means you’ll have to go to a medical facility and pay a doctor to cure your afflictions

    The ones I will definitely tweak are... Ammo Weight: Weighted Vendor Credits: Greatly Increased Sustenance: On Cargo Access: Anywhere

    I see myself turning on the vendor credits up have a huge stock pile on standby and then just switching back to normal or reduced for more exp after doing huge sale then rinse and repeat 🤔 *If you can change em on the fly tho*

    You can change them on the fly, but with how much xp you can gain in the game, the little decrease isn't a big issue

    I will be setting Vendor Credits to MAX. I hate having to spend so much time traveling all over the settled systems just to sell off my unwanted loot.

    What did the vendors with 5000 or less bump up to? Are they all the same?

    They would increase by the dame amount. So around 20k for the most credited

    Vendor Credits this shouldn't affect XP At All, in fact all vendors should just have infinite credits by default. Sitting on a Bench and Waiting for them to reset credits isn't Gameplay, and it certainly isn't a Challenge worthy of an XP tradeoff.
