I can’t wait for future updates when these M class modules are available. The diligence, the Star Gazer, the earth colony ship, they are all impressive. The orbital stations would be nice too. These modules are obviously already in the game but likely not available due to lack of game play loop. IE, no big ships too seriously fight so no big ships in game for players… yet.

I think they will only work with mods. Since the starfield rule is you cant land a ship on a planet that exceeds those whatever dimensions (and probably mass) then it would not only break immersion but all (leftover) logic as well. Same as in NMS, you cant pilot bigger ships as it just wouldnt work.

The mod already exists, it’s called “unlock m class ships” You have to build them as it only unlocks the parts and it’s only available on PC as far as I know until the creation kit drops.

Well the vigilance already can be a sort of carrier as you can dock with it like your own personal space station that can jump 15LY

who needs to dogfight, cover it with turrets and missle launchers and don't even need to break a sweat

You bet there will be D class ships in upcoming DLC.. But M.. Wow.

I tried to steal this ship at like level 8. I successfully killed the entire crew except for the named characters that cant actually die, and wasn't able to take control of the ship. 😢

Wonder if they will ever add higher tiers of ships with new perks as a part of a future DLC, Imagine how big you could make a Class D ship. On further watching of the video it showed that the Vigilance was a Class M Ship.

Mods made it so you can do this. I have M class modules unlocked. Once you get closer to 200 meters long the lag get's really bad in ship builder but totally fine in game.

No joke... KINDA reminded me of the finale of Infinite Warfare. The captured Olympus Mons & the Retribution try to ram straight into the SetDef star yards to stop their imminent invasion of Earth! Man... still can't believe such a fun & interesting Sci-Fi verse came out of Activision & Call of Duty. Ofc them fucking it up through other reasons was entirely within expectations!! Lol Ahhh... the lost potential. HOPEFULLY... Starfield gets quite a few IW related mods during it's life span. Already got one, so finger's crossed!

I was thinking the same thing! I wish there was a way to "tow" derelict ships that you find back to a planet or spaceport so that you could, at the very least, salvage some of the parts or sell the whole thing for scrap.

I don't use the word often but it feels most appropriate here - gargantuan.

How did you land the ship? I tried to take it but i can't grav jump with enemies around, and i can't land it either. Did i forgot some extra command or mods to land this? Cause ill take it after the crimson storyline 😅

To be honest mind you the ship of the least about 50 to almost 60 levels stronger than me but then again it did actually help when I was doing all my little missions where I can basically gain a ton of money to basically upgrade and advanced my stuff and put most of my stuff towards the modifying the ship

I think it will happen eventually. Think Fallout 4 Automatron. Might get something involving capital ships in the future. They have already built proper modules for it but likely didn't have things set up for it to make sense for us to have it, story or otherwise as I'm sure grinding for such a large ship when the engines alone might be several hundred thousand credits a piece would be pretty tedious. Plus there isn't much we can do with them right now. Ships like that can't land on planets and there isn't enough happening in space to justify having them atm. Sure they could have had something by now but shoulda coulda woulda, didnt. It is what it is right now but I think we will get them in time.

They do land anywhere, I had one for a while, but found it to be inconvenient for landing on landing pads, stuck out too much

Fun 😂. But I am sure I can take it with a “hole in the middle” class A ship.

Why don't you try this with your god mode off and all your other little mods off because honestly you were jetpacking earlier and new jetpack wasn't even working so something tells me we'll all the damage that your ships taking an all the Firepower you're giving out none of it's moving which means I can't wait for God mode to come to the Xbox then we'll definitely see a lot of abuse happening

The problem with this ship is that you can’t land in some planets like mars and new Atlantis and the maneuverability is quite trash also if you try to use this ship to attack uc ships it won’t work it will just load your last save when you start combat

@@James-tw5vy There would be a pretty easy solution to the landing. Just let us designate one of our normal ships as "shuttle" and have that docked on a "shuttle docking port". That would be used for landing. I am curious what we will get once the modding tools are available. A capital ship with a fitting interieur would be amazing!

How and where!?

To be honest when I did the mission to attack the vigilance to be honest I was kind of surprised that I ended up pretty much defeating it by myself how did basically 99% of the damage and the Crimson Fleet only did 1% to be honest I was actually quite surprised then again it did actually help when I actually had 12 guns on board my one ship so yeah that are actually able to Rapid Fire what I did was I took away my hyperdrive since spell check wants to be dumb and I put most of it all the way into the weapon systems to the point where they were almost maximized and I kept on rapidly keep firing at it because they were able to reload instantly

Hey! Where are the Starfield hatters? Where are the critics of this game who say it sucks, playing only a few dozen hours and generally only doing the main quest? Where are the critics of the new trend of saying that this game no longer excites them as games like Skyrim and Fallout 4 did? Did they run away? Are they afraid to come here and express these opinions? Why don't I see them here in the comments? Is there something in this video that says maybe some of their criticisms aren't sincere or true? Could it be that a good part of this criticism is just taking advantage of the fashion to say bad things, because saying bad things is what gets views now?

it's at the start of the crimson fleet undercover missions which is a branch off of the uc faction missions. But he probably just console commanded it since its not possible to legit take it over

Garnicht. Das schiff ist eine E klasse schiff. Als spieler kann man Höchstens C klasse fliegen. Man kann es nur kriegen mit console commands oder mods bis die entwickler uns kein dlc geben.

Games such a bore when you get down to the fact there's no where to go with these ships. Limited real encounters. Man you can do real interior customizations and need mods to do what should have been done from day 1. Dropped the ball again Bethesda. No wonder your rankings and developers keep leaving.
