Got mine purely by accident last week. Modified it slightly. Upgraded reactor, shields, weapons, and engines. The interior is one of the best designs I’ve come across. Painted it white and red. Named her “The Righteous Authority.”

I pulled out one of the 1x1 companion ways and the middle strut/structure and added a Stroud Ekland 3x1 living quarter and now I don’t have to climb any ladders to get to the cockpit. It’s become my favorite ship.

Looks like a modified Dragonfire

That bridge is my favorite bridge in the whole game. I use it on my main C class ship builds. 2nd fave is the Ares one, followed by the SE Kon-tiki, and SE Viking bridges. My favorite cockpit is the one used in the Frontier, followed by the Deimos and Taiyo cockpits.

This was my first C class. I LOVE IT! It's so upgradeable.

I’ve really appreciated your breakdown of ships. Just a couple thoughts. If you reverse the order of your breakdown (still keep the video in the same order, but have a look yourself at the habs ahead of time and just put that footage where you have it now), you’ll know all the habs before you do the walk through and won’t miss any. I also love it when you re-stack them in the configuration they came in (either by level or all levels together) - gives me an idea of how they’re laid out and what options there are for swapping habs in the future. Again, great job on these - love the ships in Starfield.

It is a pretty great ship to build off of too. I upgraded the engines/reactor/drive, increased the length by 1 and added a 2x2 upper deck. Then swapped out the missile and ballistic for a pair of missile turrets. Now it out maneuvers and out guns any thing I've run across, even the legendary space battle.

I got one tonight, a 3, it had terrible weapons though, it had two missiles and for some reasons the auto turrets didn't fire, i took off in space and got smacked by three high level ships, took out two but since the only one weapon worked I got killed by the 3rd. It had a brig also which I replaced, installed better weapons and shield and four dunn71 engines and some other stuff. Now its a awesome ship, and the bridge is the best.

Looks like I got lucky. I was on a moon to go find my 1st artifact after starting NG. I heard the “bang” and ran toward it. Only my 3rd ship-jacking too. The first two were booty cheeks. Definitely plan to use your upgrade recommendations

I got one of these great ships from the bounty hunter following me from my wanted trait. And if you move the entrance to the front , the docking forward and shuffle around the habs carefully you can have two efficient corridors inside making this one of the best ships i have tried. Oh and upgrade the engines as much as you can afford to improve mobility although the three turrets make that less of a requirement.

The perk is pronounced: Ayy-New-Tron-Nick Few-Shun As in, Fusion without Neutron particles.

In this play through this is my favorite ship, I've found I appreciate smaller class C ships that are simple on the inside, it's nice to be able to find the cockpit :). I update it to 7 crew and updated the weapons and engines, and reactor, put the six Walter quest engines, 100% mobility. I always take out the brigg, would be cool if you could take jobs transporting prisoners.

Yeah, being able to do bounties where you have to capture them and bring them back to turn them in

I found a Ecliptic Claymore III I duplicated the engines to 4 put the Pinch 8Z reactor on it upgraded the weapons then changed out the 2x3 bay to 2 2x1's one a science lab for the pharma bench the existing 2x1 I swapped to a workshop and in the middle a control bay so I can walk from the landing bay to the Cabot cockpit without climbing ladders only the stairs in the cockpit. Then I painted to whole thing my favorite shade of blue. It is finally a ship to be proud of and is my fav. There is a bed by the landing bay to sleep in for the buff for when I go out to fight and everything I need. It is a beast in a fight of course.

If you land on planets in uc space, you will see them land near you from time to time

Scored myself this one yesterday..... Also my 1st Successful Ship Heist after so many failures!

Found mine on Skink when getting my starborn powers. Was still using the razorleaf and what an upgrade this is even before upgrades

I capped one of those just before I started the NG+. It was an absolute joy to fly. I even started using it over the custom-built that I had been running. I've been looking for another one since the NG+ thing.

Your best bet to find one is to head to a high-level system and travel between the various planets to spawn random encounters

And I got one last night. Landed on a planet that I was doing a mission on. Funny how coincidence works. Upgraded the 1000 series engines to the big Supernova model and tossed on a nice reactor. Shields and weaponry are next. I am probably going to swap out the Ballistic for either a Particle cannon or another Missile.

I just got this couple days ago, bounty hunter messed with the wrong eagle 🦅, and just upgraded to space hyena 2 got lost on it 10 times

I try to get the T3 version of the claymore. It doesn't really need too much in upgrades. it's a very strong C class if you don't want to spend a lot of time ship building.

the T3 Claymore has 38 power Reactor and grav drive with 30 LY jump. its very good straight away.

I modified mine and with perks it has 3230 shield 9700 cargo 30yr jump and it still maneuvers quite well

The weapons on top are in the "Parked" or in the Navy "Stowed" position. Just thought you might like to know.

Just missed stealing one of these today. Damn thing took off right after I boarded and I couldnt make it to the bridge in time before I died.

On my ship I can't see beyond the bridge when looking at it from outside. There are no doors, it's just capped off like the doorway doesn't go anywhere. Is this normal?

Either Xbox or PC, depending on the time. I thought it might have been related to one ship being glitchy, but now it's all of my ships. Even the new one that I spawned in and rebuilt from scratch. But it did seem to get rid of the Claymore spawning below ground or or invisible. It happened to my 2nd stolen Claymore too! This new one is actually a Dragonfire because I couldn't find the Claymore ID.

To farm the ship go to hawking , huygens, archimedes, anything 70-75 level system

I dropped by venus to take a nap but i decided to step out and see what would drop and yep this thing came down and tbh i didn't know how valuable or class it was i had only seen it once but i figured I'd google it anyway and then this vid dropped so i took the ship, thanks😅

found a Claymore II... has improved reactor

I ran across one tonight on a planet and I wanted it, but it was sealed up

I found one and am pax piloting skill but for some reason it won’t let me pilot the ship even after dispatching the crew on and around it.

its a glitch, there was no button to enter pilot seat, happened to me with a diff ship, if u leave the system and come back the ship will be there still and u can sit in the pilot seat finally

So what's up with the Ecliptic? I get another of these last night, it was on a planet I landed on, so I take it over and the freaking ship has heat leaches, this is the 2nd ship of theirs that has heat leaches, I still took it, it's a nice chunk of credits to sell. You'd think the ecliptic would take better care of their ships. The next ship I got was another one of their ships, it was also on a planet and after I liberate it and go to take off I find the hull damaged down to half way, so much for a premier merchs. :)

I got mine after it landed but mine is the claymore Ii

Ecliptic Claymor do land often but the problem is they take off just soon as they land mostly used drop ships and cargo

Yeah that was my problem. I found it much easier to simply travel from planet to planet (while staying in space) and hope for a ecliptic space ambush. I got ambushed by them and one of the ships was the ecliptic claymore 3.

​@@zackfair6791yep got mine during my first play through and the it bugged lost my claymore 😢 apparently it just captured ships that bug anything I bought hasn't bugged as of yet

3460 is the cargo capacity you must have perks in payload bud

Seems to be a derivative of the Dragon fire.

That's not good, haha. If you have a habit of accidentally blowing up ships, I'd recommend mounting a suppressor to make it easier to disable

Here’s an actual question, I spent 150k credits making a ship and upon “entering”, it popped me up upside down in space and my ship was see through. So I changed the position of the docker, troubleshoot, same thing. “Surely it’s this spacestation, maybe Walter should invest in a better dock” try again, again upside down in space with a see through ship. Load back. “Go to the cockpit, hah, now you can’t be fucky” oh, now I’m upside down, invisible, and seated in space. So, yeah? Anyone else have this issue or is it just me and my love for Stroud-Eklund

My ship turned invisible on the landing platform and would mess up fast travel. I stopped flying it but didn't sell it because it has a lot of visual customization done to it. I seem to remember landing at my base and the crew respawned next to me at the beacon. Ghost pirates I'm sure, but maybe that's when the "thing" happened. Now I have another, and it disappeared once and I loaded a save. It's fine for now, but viewing from the outside the bridge entrance is blocked off. What's going on?

Litteraly seen this landing infront of me so i john wicked everyone and took it they even took off and went into orbit lol

I can not steal these things. I am not authorized, but I have been maxed out in piloting for a long time now,

What do you mean, are you boarding them in space after disabling their engines. Aslong as you have max piloting and the ship isnt part of a quest, you should be able to steal it

I had the same issue. Found the ship on the ground but couldn't fly it. I ended up going to the back of the ship where enemies spawned in, took them out, then I could fly it.
