Starfield Codos Beach Resort Outpost Tour

Ойындар

My most experimental build yet! I started this outpost as a creative challenge. Looking to see if I could come up with ways to build structures for outdoor living, and to turn those industrial looking habs into something that felt like a relaxing vacation resort.

You would certainly make a great travel guide, in my opinion. This was beautiful. I have a lot of outposts (13) that were built to collect resources. Now I am getting ready to make a home and these videos give me inspiration. Thanks

Fantastic showcase! Wonderful location, great attention to detail and use of space. So many cool building techniques and tricks on display, the fire from the hazard was a cool find! I also like how you occasional slip into "advertising mode" selling the appeal of the resort :) That quip about "Freestar space...but we're all from New Atlantis" at the beginning made me laugh too :D Your builds are always very impressive, Cheers!

The fire hazard to fire feature was a nice surprise, I had tried something similar on Hyla II with no luck. I need to test it to see if it was pure luck this time around, or if the key is that it only works with certain items. I'm hoping it's that it just needs the right items to work, because it would be cool to convert one of these vents into a fire pit or something in a future outpost

Add stealth composites to your spacesuit and helmet. Don't use Void, it will override your stealth and they will see you. Void is worthless, I'm learning. You will be able to sneak past anything in full armor. I've been stationery in a mob when ive over drawn from the menu, so to speak. They couldnt find me. Use Andreja as your primary companion. She damn near as sneaky as you'll become. And enjoy!

Yeah I already have all the side and faction quests done, and a solid stealth pistols/blades build down. Been playing since launch so comfortable with builds, combat, etc, my girl is silent, fast, and deadly, unless she's running with Revenant, then she's fast loud and deadly. Also void is great for theft jobs, when you can't get out of the NPCs line of sight quickly and easily, just pop that power and take what you need no messing around. I've been clearing out security contraband caches, and tearing through the Crimson Fleet mission boards using that one.

  • @Striderspawn

@MissOPlays I ran 4 laps through the Unity. It's a compltionists pursuit. I'm level 210 with virtually every skill unlocked. I never wear the Starborn suit, can craft better armor. The ship is a trophy piece you never fly. Don't feel you have to run the Red Mile of NG+ x10. Unless you want all the story lines. All NG+ does is add +10% to everything in the game x10 trips for your avatar and 6 +10% for the ship. Everything feels the same. Last trip. I beat both Starborn for both guns then I walked into the Unity. Waved and walked out. I'm focusing on outposts now. Which is why I'm here. You are in a class of your own. I'm now focused on building an outpost empire and arsenal as I wait for the DLC's. NG+ x10 is a social media phenomenon. Just understand it's 400 temple/artifact acquisitions for a suit you'll display in an amazing outpost. :0)- Don't sweat it.

Power Leveling 101 Beasts for exp and npcs to drive your economic engine. Early game, loot the Wild for everything. Pick every weed, mine every rock. Crawl back to your ship if needed. But with Personal Atmosphere you won't have too. Put it all in the magic storage box in the research lab at the Lodge By the time I started doing research seriously, I had 80% already there. Beasts: Early Game: Hawking I in the Hawking System. By the early game, I mean when leveling slows down because you're so leveled, you need an amplifier. Look for the long necked Flocking Marnokk Herbavore in the Frozen Dunes Biome. Land on Very Hard (critical). You can see them from miles away. Shoot one. They ALL come from everywhere. Level 80 beasts. Herbivores give less exp and don't argo as easily as a predator, but these are dangerous in numbers. Bring bullets; lots of bullets. Late stage character leveling. I still use Hawking I, but I added a second one with a duel purpose. Introducing Schrodinger III Starbase (ship building outpost), Schrodinger System on the obvious planet. Hills Biome. Build a landing pad with a small windmill for power and a sleeping bag (exp boost). Sprint into the woods and scan for the elusive and very dangerous Swarming Foxbats. Up to level 110. There is also a high exp herbivore there. They are mortal enemies. Hunt carefully stealthman. Later, you will add 6 animal husbandry huts to your base camp. Breed the now scanned Foxbats. Build these huts in that biome. It will also draw the wild ones in. Land, work on your Star Eagle (Cuthbert Mark II), named after my favorite character in Stephen Kings Gunslinger series, apt name indeed). Don't just sit and farm the huts. Use it as a way point for ship building and learning outpost basics. I shoot the huts, then hunt the hills and leave after working on my ships. A ship builder landing pad consolidates ship parts, most of them, from all vendors in the universe. Except for experimental engines, etc. Stealth again. Bullets again. If I want a couple of skill points, this is my goto place. But don't just farm. Go learn to play Starfield. There is too much already. Call it Part One.
