Almost ALL weapon racks in ALL cities do this and always have. The best spot for it is actually the UC Surplus in The Well in New Atlantis.

This is why I love this community! Just tried it and holy Hanna! I could not believe the haul I just got. Mind you, the little cleaning robot almost got me but I didn’t grab anything while the “detected” alert came on, but maaaan this is sweet, thank you Good Sir!

Thanks for sharing this! The weapon racks in UC Surplus also spawn additional weapons like this but i done believe the special weapons (rare, epic, legendary) spawn on the UC Surplus racks. Trying to find me a legendary advanced coachman

Can confirm it’s still working. Only thing is it’s a tedious task because the vendors on Neon only hold 11k creds and you can only sell the contraband and stollen goods to Trade Authority (bummer). Best bet to consume less time is just pick up the contraband in the back rooms in Neon. Tried doing it on New Atlantis in UC Surplus in The Wells and couldn’t get away with it for the love of god lol and the vendors there only have 5K creds so not even worth it there really.

Every time you visit after a week has passed (6 hours on Venus, 600 hours UT) the weapon racks restock without clearing what was already there. This trick works with UC Surplus in The Well on Jemison also. To harvest without getting caught use your handy dandy Internal Nueral Amp from Ryujin Questline (Manipulation Skill?) to send ship owner into the back room to suit in a chair for 30 seconds. Loot as fast as possible. Should be able to clear out about half the weapon racks on the wall. Go to Venus to wait 6 hours. Next time you come to visit loot the other half. Third trip get the chests. Fourth trip start the cycle anew. Sell stolen weapons to Trade Authority, buy back to cleanse stolen tag back off. Cleanse everything. Only after sell a select handful to Trade Authority. This way you can sell to any ship once Trade Authority coin finally tapped out. Sell guns back to the vendor you originally stole them from. And of course keep the weapons and ammo you want. Works great for NG+ restart... again... again... again... ugh...

Another way to clear out "Boris" store in the well, I just sneak till I'm fully hidden and then one shot kill him.if u quickly holster ur weapon and start looting, all that will happen is u will hear screaming from outside the store but no other issues. Just make sure that u stop before "Boris" gets back up. When he does, just rinse and repeat till store is clean. This way u can get ALL items in store if u want and don't really have to rush..... just thought I would share my way of doing this. Hope it helps someone.

This works in the gun store in the well @ New Atlantis..can also sell items at trade authority...though u do have to be very skillfull at sneaking.

Ty, it does the same with the vendor in the well and other vendors, but it won't show in the weapon rack and just overlaps 8 weapons/ammo in a singular graphic.

Also, it's noteworthy if anyone hasn't done this that you can open the weapon rack as a container and loot all or individually and in doing so it will freeze your "Hidden" status.

In just one haul i got over a hundred thousand credits worth of stuff including weapons, ammo , packs , helmets and suits from UC supplies in the Well at New Atlantis .

Might just crack open the game again and give this a go. Thanks!

Do you have to come back to security or can I just sleep repeatedly on venus and it will stack?

Pretty easy. And all no combat, just stealth. Yes I financed a few ships this way. The big thing to know is which places restock stealable high value items. Every 600 UT hours (so 6 hours on venus) the following completely restock 1) forward base 411 on toliman ii (just under Alpha centaur, binary system. Bring heal paste you will get frostbite. 3 areas: weapon test range, terrabrew shop, armory (1st and 2nd floor). New atlantis, the well, uc surplus. Don't forget the back room. The marine military suits rrspawn now too. Jake's bar. "Jakes hangover cure" big band resoawns even after you take it. Only unique that does afaik. The Bridger in the case at Centurain Arsenal on new atlantis. You can take it by looking far left and it will show up. There's other small stuff in NA but those are the big ones Neon. The weapon shop. Everything respawn randomly. You never know what you'll get Kore Kinetics. In elevator to right of entrance @ astral lounge. You can steal 6-10 "mag" type weapons (and ammo) Neon security, 8-12 contraband in back room 2-4 weapons on rack in office Opposite end, Ryujin tower lobby. Arborne (20 nova type weapons) Neon ebbside. Syndicate hideout. Tge weapons on the wall downstairs respawn. I've git some nice (instigating varun inflictor) and some garbage (grendel). Also the counter holds 2 loose weapons or 3. 1 tine you can take the unique wakasaki from the case but it dies not respawn. Then the back room here. The door is a load screen and will reroll the military chest inside so if you like rerolling you cmcan get good stuff (armor or weapons) if you wade thru the junk. I've gotten everything from blue ripshank to Legendary instigating/hit man/shattering hard target. (Not adv yet though) The re is another 8-12 contraband in the elevator shaft on 3nd floor in the hideout. And the desk safe is 33% to have a nice handgun. Hopetown, the weapon shop outside. The Bridger. 2 magshears, and the revolver all respawn too. There are more but by then I'm bored and go dump it at my outpost and play the game. Then do another 600 hr UT sleep (6 hr venus in ship) and repeat.

Yeah my game has been doing this since the first major update, check all the vendors they all are doing it on my game..any case or wall mount..

Weapon Cases on your ship after changing your armoury sometimes glitch like that.

Weapon boxes in the vendor with the robot. Stealth mode glitch..

Kore Kinetics next door to the Trade Authority has chests that do the same thing

You should be able to fast travel from anywhere you are to where you want to go.

Take this video off KZread don’t want BGS patching this glitch like they did others.

On top of that, once u have weeded thru them and picked out the keepers, I jist go to TA and sell/buy back so they r no longer "stolen" just in case. I don't lile leaving things to chance..... 5:01 5:03

They will generally have one gun in each and the other weapons will display glitch behind the top weapon. I would recommned looking at the container to see the weapon count.

It should show 2 weapons and 1 ammo but when ypu open the case they will be there. Also make sure you leave the system, wait for the vendor reset and then return.

@@mightyswordgamingI also tried on Xbox, V1.9.67 and even opening the case, it's still 2 weapons 1 ammo, nothing more. I also tried the GunShop next to TradeAuthorithy, has more guns. But anyhow, the combination of Gunshop and Security racks, for me wasn't more than 6k credit when selling.

I use a mod called Richer vendors, this allows for up to 100x credits but I have it set for 10x I believe.

Yes I am using a modded suit of armour that was obtained from defeating a mech overlord boss. It came from a mod by the author name of inquisitoroverhaulsreturn on nexus mods. I did a video on it - go check it out

Great for ammo, worthless for credits because _VENDORS HAVE NO MONEY!_ Enough with the “steal this stuff so you can sell it” tips. Who are you gonna sell it to? Who?? No one has more than 11k credits. That’s less than a third of what some single items are worth.

There are certain shortcuts that i dont want to take personally. Command line credits is one of them. I dont mind modding the vendors to give more credits but I want to earn them.

@@mightyswordgaming But is there some great or engaging challenge to travel/wait/travel/wait repeatedly? that sounds quite boring to me. in analogy: a while back I found myself quicksave/quickloading to farm bosses for loot; just repeatedly reloading till they dropped something good. at one point I had the realization: I'm not Really Playing the game at this point. So I might as well just cut to the chase, installed a mod for craftable legendaries, then moved on to focus on Story and Quests instead, breaking that endless loop.

@mightyswordgaming I buy all Ammo at the vendors. It's 0 weight, and they have enough money afterwards to clear my inventory quickly. Money is almost unnecessary in Starfield anyway, you steal a ship (the free ships all suck), the weapons, etc. so more money flows in than you can spend 😉 After the Citizenship Mission, you have a million credits and the 250k apartment in New Atlantis anyway. Meanwhile, I only pick up legendary stuff and give it a try. I am in my final universe, but after the first two, throwing away all that collected wealth, I decided to stop doing that, and the playthrough became much more fun and quick.

Admits to having a vendor credit mod, so he obviously knows selling to vendors is meaningless because they have no money, yet still posts yet another “steal crap to sell it” tip video. Gtfo

This stupid glitch thing still happening? Say that cos seems people need to cheat in the game if you need glitches. Probably not the reason...

It will be patched soon lol
